Please use this document for help on accessing the new BearCom Xen Web Portal This document contains instructions for users of Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome as well as Safari for our Mac users. XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer BearCom Team please call or email the TSC if you have any problems or questions during this process. We are here to help) 1) Start Internet Explorer and go to http://ng1.bearcom.com 2) Select the Tools button 3) Select Internet Options
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer 4) Select the Security Tab and click on Trusted Sites. Move the slider to Low and click the Sites button 5) Under Trusted sites, Add https://ng1.bearcom.com and select add and then Close
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer 6) Close all open Internet Explorer windows and restart Internet Explorer. Enter https://ng1.bearcom.com in the address bar again. 7) In the login screen, enter your domain credentials (firstname.lastname and your 15 character passphrase) and hit the Log On button. 8) You will see a screen similar to the following screen.
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer 9) Based on the Citrix Receiver installed on your computer (or lack thereof) you may be prompted to install a new one. Select Install on the following screen. (Please note that it is possible that the install popup might be behind your other open screens so if you do not see it, please minimize your open windows until you see it.) 10) Select Download Now as seen below.

XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer 13) Click I accept the license agreement and then Next 14) DO NOT SELECT Enable Single Sign-on. Click the Next button.
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer 15) Select I agree and click Install 16) Upon successful installation you will see Installation Complete. Click Finish.
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Internet Explorer 17) Your system is now setup for remote Web Access. Go to the BearCom Web Portal (https://ng1.bearcom.com) and login as before - 18) When you see the screen below, single click on an application 19) And Happy Computing!!!!!!!

We are here to help) 1) Start Firefox and select the Open Menu button and then the Add-on s button 2) Select Plugins and on every Plugin that says Citrix, please change from Ask to Activate to Always Activate.
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Firefox 3) They should now look like the ones below - (If you do not have the Citrix Receiver installed, or do not see any Citrix plugins, please go to the following link and download and install the Citrix Receiver - http://www.bearcom.com//wpcontent/uploads/citrixreceiver4.3.exe. Instructions on installing the Citrix Receiver can be found at the end of this document. If you have any questions, please email or call the TSC and we can assist) 4) Once plugins are activated, you can close the Add On Manager tab and restart the Firefox browser.

We are here to help) 1) Start Chrome and in the address bar go to https://ng1.bearcom.com and log in with your BearCom domain username (firstname.lastname) and your sixteen character password. 2) Once logged in you will see the following screen. (If you do not see the following screen or are prompted to install Citrix Receiver, please refer to the end of this document for Citrix Receiver install instructions.) Click on an application to open it.
XEN Web Portal Instructions for Chrome 3) When you click on the app, notice it opens a window (launch.ica) in the left of the bottom horizontal toolbar. Please click on the arrow on the right of the window. 4) In the dialog window, please click Always open files of this type and then Open. You will not have to do this file association process again.
