Companies served were Intel, Fujitsu, Time Dot.com and Fibrecom. He joined the academia serving Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN) in 1998 as a Senior Lecturer and was promoted twice to Principal Lecturer and then Associate Professor. He was the Chief Executive, International College of Automotive (ICAM); an institution wholly owned by DRB-HICOM (Malaysia s largest automotive conglomerate). Prior to that, he was the Director, Graduate Institute of Management after serving as the Dean of Research (Management) at Multimedia University (MMU), Cyberjaya, Malaysia. He was also selected as a member of the PEMANDU (Performance & Delivery Unit under the Prime Minister Department) Education Lab working on the National Key Economic Areas (NKEA); Economic Transformation Programme (ETP). He has published at both national and international conferences and journals in the areas of marketing and management. His research interests are in marketing strategy, international marketing, and commercialization study. He has supervised and completed 10 doctoral research projects and a project leader for 3 research projects funded by Ministry of Science, Technology, and Innovation, Malaysia; National Biotechnology Directorate; and Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC). A university spin-off company he setup to commercialize ingenious biotechnology was awarded commercialization grant from MTDC.

His notable professional and international recognition includes a selected member of The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK; appointed as adjunct senior research fellow at International Graduate School of Business, University of South Australia (UNISA), which is accredited by the European Quality Improvement System (EQUIS); and as external examiner for several universities (USM, UTM, UPM, UUM) doctoral and master thesis. He earned his PhD (Marketing) and MBA (International Business) degrees from University of Strathclyde, and his BBA (double major: Business Administration & Computer Science) degree from Central State University, Oklahoma, USA. He also has a diploma in medical laboratory technology from Institute for Medical Research (IMR), Kuala Lumpur. Entrelab is a conceptual lab comprising of (1) Knowledge Chamber; (2) Transformation Studio; and (3) Innovation Gallery. Ideation, Realization and Reflection (IRR) is a continuous iteration process for EntreLab. Currently, 3 IRR process pathways are being pursued; corporates, R&D products, and startups. Double increased in student population from about 300 to 600 plus within 6 month period. Developed new organization structure and planning process. Director Graduate Institute of Management Multimedia University 2010-2011 Secured (Dec 2010) MOHE s grant to work on Triple Helix Innovation and Commercialization national research project together with USM s researchers. Restructured graduate management programs units into Graduate Institute of Management (GIM) to streamline operation and provide better learning services. Developed and started emba program in partnership with Shariff University of Technology, Iran. Increased MBA enrolment by about 39% with better quality intakes for 2010. 2/10
