Conferment of the PhD is subject to fulfilment of the existing UTM rules and regulations related to postgraduate studies.

6 INDUSTRIAL PhD in UTM DURATION OF THE PROGRAM Full time mode only. However, candidates are expected to beworking in their respective companies whilst being enrolled in the program. Students are given a minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years to complete Full Time at Industry (Candidate s workplace) SUPERVISION S Each student will be assigned to a min of two supervisors; One from university One from industry with substantial experience or expertise in the relevant areas of the research topic. Supervision and monitoring processes are the responsibility of the supervisors. Supervision and thesis evaluation practices are similar to those designed for the conventional PhD program
