Key Accountabilities Key result area Key Accountabilities Risk Management Manage the implementation of Ambulance Victoria s Risk Management Framework to ensure that Ambulance Victoria effectively identifies, assesses and treats organisational risks Reporting & Documentation Business Continuity and Improvement Actively and directly manage any aspect of the Risk and Financial Compliance area of the business as required by resource or workload demands To ensure coordination, maintenance and updating of the Ambulance Victoria Risk Management Framework To lead the development annually of the Ambulance Victoria Risk Register To ensure coordination of the development of Risk Treatment Plans, and to actively monitor the implementation of these plans To provide reports on Risk and Business Continuity to the Manager Risk and Project Services, the Executive, the Chief Executive Officer and the Board as required To develop appropriate Business Continuity documentation and plans as required Oversee the implementation and ongoing support of Ambulance Victoria s Business Continuity Management (BCM) capability to ensure that Ambulance Victoria has an adequate and tested BCM capability To implement and lead Ambulance Victoria s Business Continuity Program to ensure the organisation is aware of, and understands Ambulance Victoria Business Continuity Management approach and Ambulance Victoria is adequately prepared to effectively manage business interruptions To support the development of (including to continually update and improve) Ambulance Victoria s approach to managing the risk of business interruption Test Business Continuity Plans, as required and report outcomes to management Insurance Oversee the management of Insurance polices within AV and ensure AV has adequate policies in place to meet the organisations needs Culture, Leadership and Best-Practice Management Streamline insurance policies and processes to.gain efficiencies in the management of insurance To create and foster a culture and awareness of Risk Management concepts and techniques across the organisation Monitor Risk and Business Continuity best practice to provide advice on changes to legislation and introduction of new initiatives, practices and processes Ambulance Victoria Date of Issue: November 2009 Number: 041377 Page 3 of 6
