FMAudit Agent requires the following minimum configuration: Microsoft.NET Framework 2.0 (provided in Windows Update) Microsoft Windows 2000 SP4/XP/2003/Vista/2008/7 (both x86 and x64 versions of the listed operating systems are supported) 1 Megabyte Hard Disk Space USB or Bi-Directional cabled printers Download the latest FM Audit Agent Here http://help.fmaudit.com/fmaa/index.html?page=downloadsoft.html Select 32 or 64 system installer
Unzip the file and double-click on the setup icon
Select Run Select Next
Select I Agree
Select Everyone if this is a shared PC
Select Next
Add the IP Address of the PC to FMAudit On-site Logon to FMAudit On-Site Server > Settings > Network > Select IPv4 or IPv6 > Add the IP Address Range of the PC(s) with locally connected printers > Select OK and Apply
Verification Logon to FMAudit On-Site Server > Settings > Historical Data > Select start now or manually modify start time to now + 2 min > Select Apply (Note: Wait 3-4 minutes for report to run depending upon network size)
Logon to FMAudit On-Site Server > Printers > Search for new device under the IP of the PC w/ the usb / bi-directional cabled printer
Troubleshooting Verify the Windows SNMP Service is installed and/or download & install HP SNMP Proxy Agent from www.hp.com for HP devices Restart the FMAudit Agent services within Windows Computer Management
Verify that bi-directional printer support is enabled Restart the FMAudit Agent services within Windows Computer Management
