How to upgrade hlpres. rar file through TFTP/HTTP/FTP/HTTPS way? 2.1 Upgrade through TFTP (1) Make a upgrade directory, such as D:\FM (2) Put the hlpres.tar file in upgrade directory D:\FM Page 2 of 9

3 (3) The PC running the TFTP server and the IP Phone products should be in the same LAN segment. (4) Set TFTP Root Directory to D:\FM TFTP SERVER File Configure Page 3 of 9

4 (5) Go to File -> Configure -> Security to change the TFTP server's default setting from "Receive Only" to "Transmit Only" for the firmware upgrade. (6) Start the TFTP server, Configure the Firmware Server Path with the IP address in the IP Phone s web configuration page. Page 4 of 9

After the completion of the upgrade,the changed photos display properly. 2.2 Upgrade through HTTP (1) Put the hlpres.tar file in upgrade directory D:\fm (2) You can choose to download the free HTTP server from or use Microsoft IIS web server. Then setup HTTP server.we recommend that install HFS.exe.Running the HTTP file Server, Menu IP Address Page 5 of 9

7 (3) Visiting on localhost by browser to verify the HTTP Server. If visiting HTTP: \\ :8080\FM\img_860.bin on other computer is no prompt to download img_860.bin file, please check the firewall (Suggest close the firewall). (4)Configure the Firmware Server Path with the IP address of the PC in the IP Phone s web configuration page. (4)Click the SaveSet and then click Restart in the webpage. 2.3 Upgrade by FTP (1) Setup a FTP Server(e.g FileZilia Server). If visiting Ftp:\\ \img_860.bin on other computer is no prompt to download img_860.bin file, please check the firewall (Suggest close the firewall). (4) Configure the Firmware Server Path in the IP Phone s web configuration page.
