TAPS is TOPS...in breadth of coverage, practical relevance and, above all, educational value. Every hour is jampacked with useful tips from thoughtful leaders, helpful advice from peers and valuable takeaways. How do they deliver so much top-notch content and fun at such low cost? J. Todd Hedgepeth, Chief, Air Force Regional Labor & Employment Office, San Antonio, TX (TAPS 2008 Speaker). Wow, I've both attended and spoke at numerous "attorney" continuing legal education courses, but the TAPS course goes to the head of the class! Never before have I seen the overwhelming majority of the participants paying such close, keen attention to the lectures and engaging in such substantive Q &A's with the presenters during and after each presentation. I, too, was in awe of the quality of my fellow guest speakers: judges, managing partners, etc. Lastly, the interchange between the attendees makes it clear that not only was this course a great learning experience for them, but an awesome networking opportunity as well. I would encourage all paralegals to make an effort to attend the next course. This year was only my second year to attend TAPS, and it was as good as the first one. You should teach a session on presenting a conference of this scope and size organization; site, topic and speaker selection; cost; exhibits; and tips and tricks. By the middle of Friday morning, I was re-enthused about my job. TAPS is an annual retreat for legal professionals. I told that to my attorney in my thank-you email to him. I do not know how you could improve TAPS... but I know you will! Job SUPERBLY done. Pat Simecek, Temple IMPORTANT NAME badges issued at registration admit you to TAPS presentations & the Friday attendees luncheon. Tickets to socials can be purchased using the registration form.
