Over the years, our materials engineers have developed countless proprietary compounds and products to meet specific customer needs. Our extensive corporate Research and Development facility contains a broad range of analytical equipment for new insulation development, pilot processing lines for the manufacture of cable prototypes, and testing facilities to measure the physical, electrical, chemical and flame performance of finished products and materials. Rockbestos-Surprenant is a world leader in irradiation-crosslinking technology, which has allowed us to provide industry leadership in the field of thin-wall cross-linked polyolefin (XLPO) cables. We also have a historical leadership position in the design and manufacture of high-temperature and other high-performance cables. Our integrated manufacturing process begins with in-house compounding to provide total control of quality and performance. Our manufacturing plant has thermoplastic and thermosetting processing capability, as well as cabling, shielding, and jacketing. The facility is equipped with extensive radiation processing capacity. In addition, we have numerous proprietary processes to manufacture specialized shielding systems, high temperature cable constructions, and hazardous location cables. Our fully approved QA/QC programs support compliance with industry standards around the world. We are an approved nuclear cable supplier, and our operations are registered to ISO 9001. If products are returned without such permission, Purchaser authorizes the Seller, in addition to such other remedies as it may have, to hold the returned products at Purchaser s sole risk and expense. Cancellation The Purchaser may cancel the order only upon written notice and upon payment to the Seller of reasonable and proper cancellation charges. Any delays requested by Purchaser in completing work on products already in production at the time of the request shall, at the option of the Seller, operate as a cancellation of the order by the Purchaser with respect to such products, within the meaning of this paragraph.
