The position of Director, Sales Corporate Partnerships will play a key role in the continued growth and success of the business at this exciting time. Our key business activities include athlete representation, venue consulting, events production and management, marketing rights and associated products, content production and broadcast rights management as well as the management of sports academies and front-ranking sports clubs. The Role The position of Director, Sales Corporate Partnerships will report directly to the Chief Executive of the UK and Europe. Based in Central London and their principal responsibilities will include: Maximising sponsorship sales revenue generation by creating, selling and negotiating outstanding brand marketing partnerships on behalf of a range of SMAM clients. Generating leads within the UK to support the sales revenue objectives of the Global Brand Partnership Team and other Lagardère Unlimited properties. Account management responsibilities as required, incorporating: internal sales team briefings, management of rights/product development and packaging, management of sales presentation materials, sponsor/client approvals, and management of sponsorship sales reporting requirements. in business with offices in Sydney and Melbourne, and, since 1999, London Protecting and enhancing the reputation of SMAM by maintaining outstanding professional standards of excellence in all elements of client representation. Person Specification The successful candidate will be a results driven sales person with a consultative approach and a natural relationship builder. Essential requirements for the role include: An outstanding track record of sponsorship sales, ideally built within the sports industry, with a minimum duration of five years. Well networked within the UK market and able to demonstrate a high number of strong relationships among key decision makers in senior positions.
