Introduction Before you can configure email software to send and receive emails from our servers, you must: 1. Purchase a cpanel or Cloud hosting subscription service. 2. Create an email account on our cpanel or Cloud hosting servers. 3. Once you have done this, you may configure your email software to connect to the email account you created on our servers. What are my email software settings? All email software and devices including Microsoft Outlook, Apple Mail and Mozilla Thunderbird connect to our email servers using the exact same settings. This document is for users who are familiar with how to use their email software, and simply want to know what settings they should use to connect to our servers. If you are unsure how to use your email software, we recommend reading through our Email setup tutorials section further down. Setup email account using Apple Mail OS Maverick and Yosemite 1. Click Mail on the menu bar 2. Select Add Account 3. Select the radio button next to 'Add Other Mail Account' and click continue. 2. Next, you'll be asked to fill in your email credentials. 4

Complete the following information: Full Name: The name displayed to the email recipient Email Address: The email account you wish to connect to Password: Email account password Note: The email address will not automatically configure itself. 7. Click Next Next, you ll be asked to enter your incoming mail server details. 9. Complete the following information using the table at the top of the page: Account Type: POP/IMAP Mail server: pop, imap or cpanel address User Name Password 10. Click Next. You may get another warning message about Apple Mail not being able to verify the identity of the server you are attempting to connect to. Simply click [Connect] to continue 5

11. You will now be asked to provide additional information about the incoming mail server: 12. Fill out the following information: 13. Path Prefix: Option Field you may leave blank Port: Your incoming mail server port number, non SSL, 110 for POP or 143 for IMAP, SSL 995 for POP or 993 for IMAP. Select the Use SSL tick box if you are using an SSL port. Authentication: Password 6

14. Click Next. You will be asked to enter in your outgoing mail server details. 15. Complete the following information from the table at the top of the article: SMTP server: smtp.partnerconsole.net or cpanel address User Name Password 16. Click Create. 17. You will now be asked to provide additional information about the incoming mail server. 18. Complete the following information: Port: Non SSL enter 587, SSL enter 465. Select the Use SSL tick box if you are using an SSL port. Authentication: Password 7

19. Click Create 20. Close the Mail application and re-open it. 21. Click on Mail and then select Preferences 22. Select Accounts and then click on the account you want to edit, then click 'Advanced' 23. In the pop up window, uncheck 'Automatically detect and maintain account settings' 24. Click on Account Information 25. Click on the Outgoing Mail Server(SMTP) server list and select 'Edit SMTP Server List' 26. Click on the SMTP server you are using for this account 27. Click on 'Advanced' and uncheck 'Automatically detect and maintain Account Settings' 21. Click OK and close the accounts window Your email is now set up. We recommend testing it by sending yourself an email. 8

How do I set up my email on Outlook 2013? Setup an email account in Outlook 2013 website tutorial 1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2013 2. Click File 3. Click Info from the left side menu 4. Click Account Settings 5. Select the Account Settings...option from the drop down 9

Users can choose whether to use SSL or not, both are supported on our servers Without SSL Encryption This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL) = Unselected Change the Outgoing server (SMTP) number to 587 Use the following type of encrypted connection = None With SSL Encryption 12

How to set up your email in Outlook 2010 1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2010 2. Click File 3. Select Info from the drop down menu 4. Click Account Settings 5. Select the Add and remove accounts option from the drop down. 6. Under the Email tab, click New. Modifying the settings for an existing account? If you are making changes to an existing account, you will see a list of email accounts that exist within Outlook 2010 under the Email tab. How do I set up my email on my iphone/ipad? 1. From the home screen of your iphone/ipad, press the Settings Icon 2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars 24

3. Under the Accounts section, select Add Account 4. On the Add Account page, select Other 25

5. Under the Mail section, select Add Mail Account 6. On the New Account screen, complete the following details: Your Name: The name to be displayed when sending email Address: Your email address, e.g. johnsmith@example.au.com Password: The password used for this email account Description: Any text description 26

7. Press [Save] The device may attempt to automatically retrieve the server settings. If it fails, continue following the steps below to configure your iphone/ipad manually 8. Our servers support both POP and IMAP. Select IMAP or POP from the mail account types, depending on your preference 9. Scroll down the screen and complete the corresponding information using the table at the top of the page:. Incoming Mail Server Host Name: pop, imap or cpanel address. Username: Your full email address, eg. johnsmith@example.com Password: The password to your email address 28

Outgoing Mail Server Host Name: smtp or cpanel address. Username: Your full email address, eg. johnsmith@example.com Password: The password to your email address. 29

10. Scroll back to the top of the screen and press [Save]. Your device will now attempt to verify all the settings you ve entered. You ll need to wait for it to do this. Note: You may be given a warning that your device cannot connect via SSL, or that it cannot be verified If this warning comes up, you may simply press continue. 11. This completes the configuration of your iphone/ipad to our email servers. Before using it however, we recommend testing that a few other settings have been configured correctly. The iphone/ipad is known for automatically using some default settings, which may cause you problems. Continue with the steps below to ensure that the settings on your device are set correctly. 30

Modify the Email Settings on your iphone/ipad 1. From the home screen of your iphone/ipad, press the Settings Icon 2. Select Mail, Contacts, Calendars 3. The email account you just created will be displayed in the Accounts section 4. Select the email account you just created 31

5. Scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server section and press SMTP 32

6. If only using your email services with us on your device, your primary server should be smtp.partnerconsole.net or your cpanel server. Select this SMTP server to configure it further 33

7. Modify the following information if not already completed: SSL: Off. Authentication: Password. Server Port: 587. If wanting to use SSL, set SSL as on and the server port as 465. 34

8. Press Done 9. To modify your incoming mail server settings, go back to the mail email account page and press Advanced rather than SMTP 10. Modify the following information if not already completed: SSL: Off. Authentication: Password. Server Port: 110. If wanting to use SSL, set SSL as on and the server port as 995. 35

11. 12. On this screen, you may also allow your device to delete emails from our servers when it downloads them, or set them to delete after a set period of time. The process is now complete. Test by sending an email to the account. 36

How do I set up my email on my Microsoft Surface? 1. Open Mail 2. Perform a left slide by putting your finger at the edge of the right hand side of the screen and sliding it to the left 3. Tap Settings 4. Tap Accounts 5. Tap Add an account 6. Tap Other account 7. Tap IMAP 8. Tap Connect 9. Tap Show more details 10. Fill in the following details using the table at the top of the page: Email Address/Username: The email address you are sending email from. Password: The password used for this email account. Incoming (IMAP) email server: imap or cpanel address. Set the port to 143. Incoming server requires SSL: Unselected Outgoing (SMTP) email server: smtp or cpanel address. Set the port to 587. Outgoing server requires SSL: Unselected Outgoing sever requires authentication: Selected. Use the same username and password to send and receive mail: Selected 11. Tap Connect 37

How do I set up my email on my Android phone? 1. From the home screen of your Android phone, press the Email icon (this might be on your home screen, but might also be lurking in your Apps folder) to open the app 2. On the Set up Email screen, complete the following details: Your email address: In this example, we will use johnsmith@example.com.au, but you will need to enter your own email address Your password: This is the email password you have set for your email account Click [Next] 38

Your device might attempt to automatically retrieve the server settings. If it fails, use the steps below to configure your Android device manually Our servers support both POP and IMAP. Select IMAP or POP from the mail account types, depending on your preference. For this tutorial we will be setting up a POP account, but the IMAP set up is very similar and will require the same information. 3. Click [POP3 Account] 4. Complete the following information using the table at the top of the page: Username: Your full email address Password: Your email password POP3 Server: pop or cpanel address 39

Click [Next] 5. On the Outgoing Server settings page, fill in the following information using the table at the top of the page: SMTP Server: smtp or cpanel address Username: Your email address, in full Password: Your email password Click [Next] 40

6. On the Account Options page, you can edit some of the basic options to suit your needs, including how often you want your emails to download from the server and whether or not you want a notification each time you receive an email. 7. On the last page of your Android email set up, you can give your account a name and edit the name that appears on your outgoing messages. Click [Done] to be taken to your inbox. 41

How do I set up my email on my Blackberry? 1. Log in to the BlackBerry's Internet Service by entering your User ID and password (specific to your BlackBerry) 2. Under Services, select Email Accounts. Note: BlackBerry 9900 and other Bold/Touch distribution users will be required to select Setup on the Home screen, then Email Accounts 3. Click Add An Email Account 4. Enter your complete email address (username@yourdomain.com) in the Email Address field 5. Enter the password for this email account into the Password field. You will then be asked to confirm your password 6. After entering this information, select Next 7. An error message will be sent to the BlackBerry informing you that the account was not automatically configured 8. Select Internet Service Provider Email which refers to POP/IMAP 9. Click Next 10. Select I will provide the settings to add this email account 11. Click Next 12. Enter your account settings information. Please ensure the email address box, which was automatically populated, is correct 13. In the Username field, enter your complete email address, for example: username@yourdomain.com 14. In the Password field, enter the password for your email account 15. In the Email Server field type: pop.partnerconsole.net or your cpanel server 16. Under Server Type select POP 17. Next to the option Use SSL, select No 18. Review your settings to ensure they are correct and click Next 19. Your account has now been successfully configured Note: Your BlackBerry's Internet Service should automatically check for new emails in your inbox approximately every 15 minutes. Our email servers do not support Push-Email or Push Extensions for IMAP. Standard IMAP and POP3 settings should be used. 42

How do I set up my email on Thunderbird? 1. Open Thunderbird 2. Click Tools 3. Select Account Settings from the drop down menu 4. Click Account Actions 5. Select Add Mail Account 6. Type your name, email address and email address password into the fields provided 7. Click [Continue] 8. Thunderbird will automatically select the server host name, port number, SSL and Authentication settings for you. Some of these settings will need to be adjusted 9. Click [Manual Config] 10. Modify the incoming settings to: Incoming protocol: Select POP or IMAP from the drop down. POP is more common; however, you can easily chose IMAP if you prefer Incoming server hostname: pop.partnerconsole.net if using POP3 or imap. partnerconsole.net if using IMAP or your cpanel server Incoming port: 995 is using POP3, 993 if using IMAP Incoming SSL: SSL/TLS Incoming authentication: Normal password 11. Modify the outgoing settings to: Outgoing protocol: SMTP Outgoing server hostname: smtp.partnerconsole.net or your cpanel server Outgoing port: 465 Outgoing SSL: SSL/TLS Outgoing authentication: Normal password 12. Modify the username settings to: Username: johnsmith@example.com (ensure to place your full email address including the domain name) 13. Click [Create Account] 14. Click [Confirm Security Exception]. 15. Thunderbird will verify that the setting are correct and complete the creation of your email account This completes the setup of your email account in Thunderbird. 43

How do I set up my email on Entourage 2008? 1. Click Tool from the Entourage menu 2. Click Accounts 44

8. Click Click here for advanced sending options 9. Select the Override default SMTP port radio option then type 587 into the corresponding port field 10. Select the SMTP server requires authentication radio option 11. Select Use same settings as receiving mail server 12.
