Placing an order Finding an item Search Box Advanced Search The Search Box - Input options: 1. Catalog Item # /SKU 2. Partial or Full Item Description / Keyword 3. Barrel Color 4. Category 5. Brand Advanced Search - Extended Options Allows more refined search. Any or all of the categories can be completed to initiate the search. Once the search criteria are entered / selected click on Continue to initiate the search. 10

Click on the icon for the appropriate writing instrument Browse by Price Writing instruments can also be searched based on price. Click on the price range option that best suits your inquiry. 11

Placing an order Adding items to the order Adding products to your order is easy. After your product search 1. Hover mouse over item name to show basic product detail for review before selection. 2. Click on item name or More Details to see all information associated with the writing instrument 13

Checkout Note: The name of your Sales Rep is required. If you do not know your Sales Rep s name, please contact B2B Samples at 800-323-0749 x 1745. Billing Information is auto populated with the billing detail saved on the user s Samples website account. (See setting up a new account and/or modifying an account for more information regarding billing). Click on Continue when you are satisfied with the billing information to proceed with check out. 18
Checkout - con t Shipping Information The ship-to information is captured on this screen. There are four options: 1. Use my billing address select if shipping to your bill-to address. (Click on Copy from my Billing Address to auto-fill the fields). 2. Select Default shipping address if shipping to auto-fill the default shipping address pre-set in your Sample website account set up. 3. Choose from list of previously used ship-to locations. 4. Add new shipping address if you would like to use a ship-to that has not been used in the past or is not saved in the system. Click on Continue once you complete the ship-to detail. Note: Failure to select the correct Address Type: may delay the shipment of your order. 19
Checkout - con t Shipping Method Click on your preferred Carrier (FedEx or UPS) and choose a shipping method. If you wish to use your carrier account to ship your order, please see Checkout- Options for more information. Select Continue to the next step of the checkout process. Checkout - con t Sales Tax Calculation While B2B Sample customers are not billed sales tax on Sample orders, we my ask from time to time for you to clarify the ship-to county. We use this information for internal purposes only. If you are unsure of the county, please select the default county in the drop-down. Click on Continue to proceed to the next step in the checkout process. 21
Checkout-Options Payment & Other Information The Optional: Add P.O. #, Carrier Charge Requests or Comments about your order has been made available to you to make special requests with your order. It appears after completing your shipment information. Please use this open Text Box to notate or request: 1. Purchase Order # 2. Preferred Carrier 3 rd Party Account Number 3. Special requests 4. Checkout - con t Payment & Other Information If your sample order requires payment to complete processing, you have the option of either billing the expense to your Sanford B2B Account or using a credit card. Choose Salesman / SAP Account Number or Credit Card Next, click on Continue to complete payment 23
Checkout - con t Payment Type & Payment Details When billing your Sample order to your Sanford B2B Account, please enter your Account Number in the text box labeled Customer SAP Account Number and then click on Place Order to complete the transaction If you select Credit Card the Payment Details screen will appear asking for your credit card information. 1. Choose the Card Type from the drop down box. 2. Enter your Credit Card Number 3. Select the appropriate drop down choices for the Expiration Date 4. Enter your Security Code from the back of the credit card Click on Place Order to complete the transaction 24
Order Confirmation You ve successfully completed your order when you receive the following Order Number / Order Confirmation notice. An electronic order confirmation will be sent to your email address on file. Once the order has been processed, a shipment notification will be sent to you with a tracking number. 25
