Given over 3 Student should have high personal values and live by them; be a leader and have a years sensitivity to community activities. Presented to a student who is academically in the top 5% of the class. Must display good citizenship, awareness of others and have social consciousness. $1,000/male- $1,000/female Presented to the student who has achieved the highest scholastic average. Recipient should have excelled in the Musical Theater Arts as a either singer, dancer, or actor and have shown enthusiasm and dedication to the Wissahickon High School musical productions. Presented to a student furthering his/her education. A supportive member of the Marching Unit and its activities. A student who shows leadership ability, enthusiasm, positive overall attitude and who as participated at least 2 years in the Band. Joseph Pisch Memorial Scholarship $500/financial Presented to a graduating student who is continuing his/her education, has participated in need school activities, is highly regarded by faculty and peers, and who has achieved a good $500/male scholastic average. Is an enthusiastic good citizen, with high moral standards and who Soccer player demonstrates constant progress and initiative. Art Department of Wissahickon Scholarship $500.00 Presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated consistent and outstanding conceptual and artistic skills and who will further his/her education in the field of Art. Presented to a member of the graduating class who has demonstrated good citizenship, who has active involvement in civic and/or community affairs, has good academic Timoney Knox, LLP Scholarship $1,000.00 achievement and is continuing his/her education in a four year college. Blue Bell Rotary Memorial Award Thomas J. Cassidy Presented to a student who exemplifies Service and Dependability. It is not necessary for $1,000/male - the student to be in top academic percentage of class, but who is continuing his/her $1,000/female education (college or tech. training).

Presented to a student who is furthering his/her education (college or training - preferably a Foreign Language major). Applicant should have overcome a physical (disability) or emotional (loss of a parent) hardship and be highly respected by peers. Student should be involved in school/community and must have a "B" average or better in junior/senior Gabrielle Cauvin Memorial Scholarship $100.00 years. Presented to a student who has exhibited leadership, citizenship and who is respected by Ambler High School Class of 1953 Scholarship faculty and peers. Student should be furthering his/her education by going to college, Award $500.00 nursing or vocational training. Financial need will be a considering factor. Presented to a student in good academic standing, of high moral character and who has Area 10 (Ambler, Lower Gwynedd & Whitpain) community service. Student should be planning to attend Montgomery County Republican Committee Award $500.00 Community College, be a good citizen and is not applying for other scholarships. Fifteen( 15) awards presented to students who are ranked with the highest GPA and who are not applying for other scholarships or awards. Fifteen (15) awards presented to students who have the highest level of participation in WHS sports, clubs or other activities regardless of their GPA and who will not apply for other scholarships or awards. Parent-Teacher Council Scholarship 30 X $100 The PTC's intention is to recognize a broad range of students at the graduation ceremony. Presented to a graduate pursuing a career in field of Art. Not limited to a student attending four year college or university. Student may pursue training through art classes Art Scholarship from Woman's Club of Whitpain $500 (TBD) from various art institutes or clinics. Betterly Memorial Scholarship $300.00 Presented to a graduating senior who is continuing his/her education in college, vocational, technical or trade school. A student of good character who has struggled to be at a point beyond where they started and who has demonstrated concern for others, possesses a friendly attitude. Financial need will be considered. $200.00 Presented to a graduating senior of good character. Presented to a member of the Boys' Track & Field team. An athlete who is a leader by example, who exhibits hard work and competitiveness.

Presented to two graduates with high academic achievement who are entering the field of Wissahickon Education Alliance Scholarship $1000 & $1000 Education. Presented to a student with post high school studies in Business. Recipient must be a member of FBLA; have a friendly, outgoing personality; is involved in volunteer work and Future Business Leaders of America Scholarship $1,000.00 maintains good grades throughout high school career (A's and B's). Presented to a graduating senior who excels in Music (primary criteria) or the Performing Arts and who will major in Music and/or the Performing Arts in college. Applicant should Terry O. Stoller Memorial Scholarship Fund $400.00 not be applying for other scholarships. To be given to graduate who has been an advocate for non-violence and/or peaceful resolution of conflict by participating in civilian peace activities, leadership in non-military peace organizations, and/or advocacy for peace by speaking, writing or printed research of non-violence peaceful means of resolving conflict at the local, regional, national or international level. Student should be a leader and exhibit good citizenship and should Peacemaking Endowment Award $250.00 have average or above average academic achievement. Presented to a graduate who is furthering his/her education and who is intending to Scholarship in Honor of Colleen Romano $1,400.00 major in Special Education. Presented to a graduate involved in team sports who is majoring in Criminal Justice/Law Officer Richard Lawn Memorial Scholarship $1,000.00 Enforcement. Student should be a mentor to other students. Recipients shall be selected based upon the demonstration during their high school careers of those attributes which reflect the ideals of Rotary including community and Rotary Club of Ambler John L. and Helen B. international service, scholastic achievement, leadership potential and character as well Shoemaker Award $7,000 & $7,000 as need. Members and dependents of Rotary Club of America not eligible. Presented to a student with a high level of participation in high school string activities, including a high level of performance skill; achievements in string music studies, such as first chair playing in ensembles, audition successes, solo and chamber music honors. Student should exhibit a resourceful and cooperative demeanor in the school music Dorothy Tobin Excellence in String Music Award $100.00 environment.

Presented to a graduating Cross Country or Track athlete whose dedication, enthusiasm, and achievements have represented the best aspects of the sport of running. To a runner who has competed for at least two years in XC or track, who is continuing his/her education in any manner (4 year/2year/technical or vocational (full or part-time)), and who has demonstrated enthusiasm for running, sportsmanship, teamwork, good citizenship. Athlete should have reached the maximum of their potential and have a Ambler Area Running Club Scholarship $500.00 good academic standing. Wissahickon Democrats Good Citizenship Award Nelson Stratton Memorial Wrestling Award $250.00 Post-Prom Senior Scholarship $500.00 Given to a graduating male and a female who have demonstrated both awareness and a willingness to act on global issues, social/economic justice, and/or environmental conservation. Students should be: (1) accepted to an accredited 2 or 4 year college; (2) $250 male - $250 be of good character; (3) demonstrate some financial need; (4) maintain a GPA of 3.0 or female better. Presented to a wrestler who has displayed a strong work ethic, courage, leadership and good citizenship throughout his high school career. Presented to a student who plans to attend a 4-year Nursing, Medical or Health Care school. Student must have participated two years in a community service club (SADD) which promotes a drug-free and alcohol-free life. Student should be a member of Student Council with a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Bower, Horton, Sherman Memorial Scholarship Presented to a student who has been accepted to an accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning or vocational school. Student must be a resident of Ambler/Penllyn, have $100 each - male an outgoing personality, be a good citizen within the high school and community & female (TBD) environment with a GPA of 2.5 or better. Financial need will be considered. Cheri Parsons Commemorative Scholarship $500.00 Presented to a graduating senior who has demonstrated consistent and outstanding conceptual and artistic skills and who will further his/her education in the field of Art. Awarded to a graduating senior who has excelled in community service throughout Wissahickon Educational Opportunities his/her high school career. Student should be someone who has worked to their ability Foundation Award $500.00 and is conscientious and reliable. Student should have good academic standing.

Awarded to a female student with a positive attitude, who is dedicated to academics with an interest in the Performing Arts. Student should be respected by peers and have shown perseverance through adversity and positively impacting the community. Student should Ebony Dorsey Memorial Scholarship $500.00 have a GPA of 3.0 or better and planning to attend an institution of higher learning. Awarded to a well-rounded, people-oriented student who loves literature and intends to major in English or Journalism in college with the goal to become a teacher. This graduate Lynne Patterson Memorial Scholarship $1,000.00 should be a role model to others and well-liked by his/her peers. Awarded to a student who best demonstrates both leadership and ability in the social Arthur R. Driedger Commemorative Scholarship $1,000.00 sciences and who exhibits a love of history and nature. Presented to a female athlete who displays teamwork, both positive and supportive; leadership (leading by example); and is a positive role model for others. Student must Katie O'Donnell Scholarship $500.00 have a GPA of 3.0 or better with no disciplinary referrals. Frances (Boo) Crofton Memorial Scholarship $1,000.00 Presented to a student who has made notable contributions to the community either the WSD community or the community at large; has through action and example promoted a positive relationship between groups in our diverse school population; and who plans a career of service in Social Work or Education Awarded to a student pursuing higher education in either college (2 or 4 years), technical or vocational school. Student should have a GPA of 2.5 or better, and exhibit good school citizenship. Financial need will be a consideration. Scholarship will be sent directly to Scholarship in Honor of Gabrielle Cauvin $2,000.00 school upon verification of registration. Awarded to an African-American student who has been accepted to an accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher learning or vocational school. Must be a resident of Ambler/Penllyn, have an outgoing personality, be a good citizen within the high school Diversified Ryders Motorcycle Association and community environment with a GPA of 2.5 or better. Financial need will be Award $500.00 considered. Blue Bell Tea Party Patriots Award $500.00 Awarded to a student who writes the best essay entitled "The Bill of Rights - Then and Now." Students to work through their Social Studies class with essays reviewed by Social Studies faculty. All essays will be given to the Tea Party for final decision.

Kishan Memorial Award $100.00 Awarded to a student with high academic achievement. Financial need will be considered This award acknowledges a graduating senior of good character and academic standing. Wissahickon High School Scholarship This Award is given to a student who has made great strides to reach their fullest Committee Principals' Award $500.00 potential during their high school career. Awarded to two graduating seniors who are alumni of Blue Bell Elementary School. These Blue Bell Elementary School Parent-Teacher students are of good character and academic standing who plan to attend an institution of Organization Alumni Scholarship $250 & $250 higher learning. Awarded to two graduating seniors who are alumni of Stony Creek Elementary School. Stony Creek Elementary School Parent-Teacher These students are of good character and academic standing who plan to attend an Organization Alumni Award $150 & $150 institution of higher learning. Awarded to two graduating seniors who are alumni of Shady Grove Elementary School. Shady Grove Elementary School Home & School These students are of good character and academic standing who plan to attend an Association Alumni Award $250 & $250 institution of higher learning. Awarded to a student who has demonstrated unusual leadership qualities and character either in school or in the community. Student needs to be a good student but does not need to be at the top of the class. Student must possess pride, willpower and motivation Class of 1972 Scholarship $500 & $500 to make an impact. Financial need will be seriously considered. Awarded to a student who volunteers time to develop projects(s) which will benefit others - either individually, with a group or for a national organization. Student may have led a project or have been an active member of a service group. Student should possess a Wissahickon Senior High School Service GPA of 2.5 or better and look to a future career assisting/working with others. (Funded by Scholarship $500.00 Fall Fest) Awarded to a student who is interested, and has taken part in, any area of the Arts. Student must have an on-going interest in a creative field taking part in school or outside Wissahickon Senior High School Creative Arts performances, productions, exhibits, etc. Student must possess a 2.5 GPA or better and Scholarship $500.00 wish to continue his/her career in the Arts. (Funded by Backyard Brawl) Class of 2012 Scholarship $500.00 Awarded to a student who demonstrated both school and class spirit, is a good student with a GPA of at least 3.0 and who is respected by both his/her peers and staff. This student is planning to attend a four-year institute of higher learning.

Awarded to a passionate civic minded female student who not only answers the questions, but questions the answer. This student is of high moral character, has a GPA of Paula McLaughlin Commemorative Scholarship $300.00 3.0 or better and plans to attend an institution of high learning. Awarded to a student who will attend the University of Virginia. This student has high Alexander Gregorio - University of Virginia academic standing and character in line with the UVA tenets whereby a student will not Scholarship $500.00 lie, cheat or steal. Scholarship will go directly to college Awarded to a graduating student participating in the Life Skills Program who is a Wissahickon District resident. This student has good attendance, exhibits good Functional Skills Classroom Award $100.00 citizenship and will be taking his/her diploma this current year. Continental Bank Foundation Academic Awarded to a student with excellent academic standing who wishes to further his/her Scholarship $500.00 education at an institution of higher learning. Awarded to community-oriented students with good academic standing. These students Field of Dreams Scholarship $500.00 are well-rounded, participating in school/community activities. Lower Gwynedd Elementary School Home & School Association Award Alexander "Ron" Rotelli Memorial Scholarship $1,000.00 Awarded to two graduating seniors who are alumni of Lower Gwynedd Elementary $250 male -$250 School. These students are of good character and academic standing who plan to attend female an institution of higher learning. Awarded to a student who has endured and/or overcome hardship, i.e loss of a parent. This student should have a GPA of 2.5 or better, exhibit good citizenship both in school and in the community and be of high moral character. Financial need and overcoming hardship is a definite criteria. Awarded to a student who plans to attend a technical school or college. This student is of Wissahickon Senior High School Class of 1963 good character and academic standing and is respected by both faculty and peers. Alumni Scholarship $100.00 Financial need should be considered Awarded to a student who demonstrated both school and class spirit, is a good student with a GPA of at least 3.0 and who is respected by both his/her peers and staff. This Class of 2013 Scholarship $250.00 student is planning to attend a four-year institute of higher learning. Awarded to a student planning a career in the health related fields or fitness. Student Wissahickon School District Wellness should be of good character, participate in school activities and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or Committee Scholarship $250.00 better. Financial need will be considered.
