Georgia Power's Water Research Center (WRC) will provide a site for testing technologies to address efficiencies of water use in generating electricity. WRC has seven focus areas: moisture recovery; cooling tower and advanced cooling systems; zero liquid discharge; low volume wastewater treatment; solid landfill water management; carbon technology water issues; and water modeling and best management practices.
