22630 Highway 18 N Toone, TN 38381 www.falconridgefarm.net mail@falconridgefarm.net 731.658.5200 2015 Fall CSA Membership Agreement Members of the Falcon Ridge Farm CSA receive a weekly or bi-weekly share of fruits vegetables that will vary in size and weight depending on the time of the season. CSA members agree to support their farmer by sharing in the inherent risks of agriculture (poor weather, drought, hail, crop failure, etc.) and the rewards (fresh, local vegetables, the bounty of a good season). CSA farmers carefully plan for contingencies by using growing techniques that protect the harvest, minimize the risks, and optimize the rewards. On the whole, members will get a wide variety of freshly picked from the farm fruits and vegetables. I understand this principle and agree that there is no guarantee on the exact amount or type of produce I will receive in my share. By participating in the CSA, I am supporting the local farmer and local economy as well as more equitable food distribution, and I am helping to create a more environmentally and economically healthy society. By becoming a member, I commit to picking up my share at the designated time and place and I understand that if I, or someone I designate, is unable to pick up my share, the produce cannot be saved or picked-up at a later time. All produce that is not picked-up at the designated time will be donated. You are welcome to split a share with someone. However, share-splitting is the responsibility of the member; we do not manage the splitting of shares. This includes payment: you are responsible for all payments. Do not divide the cost and pay half and have your share-splitter pay half. You pay us for your full amount and have your sharesplitter reimburse you for their half. Members can work out arrangements to share with their friends and neighbors, when they have to leave town during the growing season. By signing this agreement I commit to pay on time and understand that my membership is not complete until my first payment is received and if I am late paying my second, third or fourth payments (if you choose this payment method) that I forfeit all shares until that payment is made and I will not be reimbursed for any forfeited shares. Refunds are not given for any reason. We are always available to answer all of your questions by phone or through email to ensure that you are comfortable with your decision to become a CSA member. For more information, please contact Ray or Bart Gilmer at 731.658.5200, or mail@falconridgefarm.net I agree to the above conditions. Signature Date

Please fill out this page, sign the agreement form on the first page and mail both, with payment, to: Falcon Ridge Farm, 22630 Highway 18 N, Toone, TN, 38381. Make checks payable to Falcon Ridge Farm. We have a limited number of memberships available. CSA memberships are on a first come, first serve basis. CSA Frequently Asked Questions What is a CSA? CSA (Community Supported Agriculture program) creates a direct relationship, a partnership, between you and our farm, and between the consumption and production of food. This is a mutually beneficial arrangement, where in exchange for your commitment to buy a share in our farm's harvest, we commit to grow exceptionally high quality fruits and vegetables and provide a bountiful portion of it to you during the peak of the growing season. When you become a member of our CSA program you will receive a weekly share of fresh in-season produce. Your membership helps us pay for seeds, water, equipment maintenance, labor, and supplies. Becoming a CSA member fosters responsible relationships between the food you eat, the land on which it is grown and those who grow it. What types of produce do you grow for the fall? Arugula Basil Beets Broccoli Cabbage Carrots Cauliflower Celery Cilantro Collard Greens Cucumber Kale Kohlrabi Lettuce Mustard Greens Pak Choi Cabbage Radishes Spinach Squash Sweet Potatoes Swiss Chard Tomatoes What will be in my share? Do I get to choose? Your share will be full of fresh seasonal produce grown at Falcon Ridge by the Gilmer family. Each share will vary in size and variety. Some weeks your box may not be completely full and other weeks it may be overflowing depending on what is ready to harvest that week. How fresh is the produce? Your produce will be picked at its peak of ripeness, packaged and delivered to your pick up location within hours! It doesn t get much fresher than that. Typically the produce you buy in grocery stores is picked before it is ripe, is 7-14 days old and has traveled hundreds and sometimes even thousands of miles. How much are shares? Please see Share Sizes and Descriptions and Payment Options.

Does Falcon Ridge Farm provide the container for our share? Yes! You will receive your share in a cardboard box. We encourage you to take care of your box and return it to be used again. Can I split a share with someone else? Yes. You are welcome to split a share with someone. However, share-splitting is the responsibility of the member; we do not manage the splitting of shares. Members can work out arrangements to share with their friends and neighbors, when they have to leave town during the growing season. Where and when do I pick up my shares? Choose from the following pick-up locations and times: Memphis- Cooper-Young Neighborhood (2005 Evelyn Ave., Memphis, TN 38104) Monday 5:30pm - 7:00pm Memphis- Kroger (9025 Us Hwy 64 Lakeland, TN 38002) Monday 5:00pm Jackson- Wal-Mart (2196 Emporium Dr, Jackson, TN 38305 next to Sam's Club) Tuesday 5:00pm - Toone- Falcon Ridge Farm (22630 Hwy. 18 N. Toone, TN) Tuesday 5:00pm *We are open to other pick-up locations as our customer base dictates. What happens if I can t make it to pick up my share? If you can not make it to pick up your share within the allotted time, you can arrange for someone to pick it up for you. If no one can pick up your share it will be donated. You can not make arrangements to pick it up later. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or concerns you have.
