Step 8 Editing a Bank Account Edit Bank Accounts The function is to update Account Name and Account # details only. To update BSB or Bank you will need to Add a New Account and delete the old BSB or Bank Id setup Step 9 Deleting a Bank Account Deleting Bank Accounts To delete an old bank account, please select the function Important Note: You can not delete an account that is currently used for Pay Distribution. You must delete the Pay Distribution first prior to deleting a Bank Account.
Pay Distributions Doris can also amend the distribution of funds between these different bank accounts by clicking Pay Distribution Instructions on the Personal Bank Accounts page or via the Portal Menu option on the left hand side. Important Notice Each Distribution has a Priority order. This determines the order of payment during processing with your lowest Priority order taking precedence over other Priorities e.g. Priority 1 Distribution will be processed before Priority 2 Distribution. The exception to this Rule is the Priority 999 Row which is your Remaining Pay default. You must have a Priority 999 row set up as your Remaining Pay default. After all distributions have been debited, the remaining balance of your pay will be credited to the Bank account set up as your Priority 999 row. A series of online validations exist on the Distribution page to check that the correct Distribution details are entered. A list of validations for both Bank Accounts and Pay Distributions are detailed further in this document Employees with multiple employee record numbers will be prompted to select which Active Job to update Bank Distribution details. The Job List view will display all Job statuses against each of your Jobs. Step 1 Select Job Title List of Doris s current Pay Distributions is displayed. Step 4 Distribution Instruction Details Submit Net Distribution detail of Amount and SAVE. System will automatically increment the next Priority No. by 1. No other entry is required other than to enter an $ Amount Value. Important Note: The University s preference is for you to use a $ amount rather than a percentage. The Primary Account checkbox only applies to your Remaining Pay account default i.e. your 999 Priority row.

Apply the following steps: 1. DELETE existing 999 Priority Row 2. Select ADD a New Distribution and nominate Bank Account for New Distribution 3. In one action, override Priority No. Row to 999 and tick/check the Use for any Remaining Pay checkbox and SAVE. o Note: The $ Amount field will be greyed out Step 9 Review Distribution View The Distribution View displays updated Priority 999 Row: - Remaining Pay flag default now set against Doris s ABS Building Society Bank
