Loan Sourcing In order to view the secured loan products available for your client please login to the site and click Lead Submission. Sourcing Options Fluency has a number of sourcing tools based on the information and time you have. Simple Loan Finder With the minimal details fluency can produce a list of secured loan products that match your criteria. Most issues regarding secured loans relate to the LTV and employment type. This tool asks these key questions in order to produce a quality sourced result. Income Based Loan Finder This includes the questions asked above, however it also includes questions regarding the clients income. This tool asks for all applicants income, including benefits, Child Allowance, bonuses to name a few. Using the Lenders criteria for usable income, Fluency sources for the best available product. Adverse Based Loan Finder The adverse based tool asks the questions above, however it also includes questions regarding the client s adverse credit. This includes CCJ s/defaults on all credit. Each lender has their own criteria regarding what qualifies as an adverse point; Fluency works this out and produces a list of secured loan products to match.
Loan Submission The following step will show you how to source a secured loan application and submit to Fluent Money. LTV Calculator This section asks questions regarding the clients property details. This allows Fluency to make sure that the LTV fits the secured loan products currently available. Fluency checks every time you enter details. You can therefore quickly find out if your clients details fit without completing a full application. If the details entered do not fit the secured loan criteria then a detailed explanation is given. For example: Loan value does not match any of our products Property values does not match any of our products
Employment Details This section asks for the client s employment details. This is the main applicant. Using the drop down boxed please select the nearest appropriate option then click Next Income Calculator Using the income calculator it s possible to enter all the different income types acceptable to the lender panel. Fluency will calculate the total income per lender and use this figure within the sourcing tool. Using this tool you are able to add extra details regarding the client s income. These notes will be available to Fluent Money s underwriting team. Enter the details of each income type and click Add. Once finished adding all the income items click Next
Adverse Calculator The adverse tool is used to add details about the clients possible CCJs and defaults. Note that each lender calculates the criteria of adverse differently. Fluency calculates these automatically and produces plans that fit those criteria rules. It s also possible to add any extra details regarding every adverse credit item. These notes will be visible to Fluent Money s underwriters. Plans This section shows the secured loan products available based on the information entered. At this point you can go back and forth updating the information and viewing what loan options are available. Click the lender s logo to view extra information about the secured loan product or select the product that matches your requirements click the Next button. The product will be assigned to this application and Fluent Money s underwriters will try to match this once a full fact find has been completed.
Contact Details The time has come to enter the client s contact details and submit the application to Fluent Money. An underwriter will then contact the client and do a full fact find. At this point Fluent Money will try to match the selected products. To submit the application and finish this application process click Apply.
Success You should be informed that the application has been submitted to Fluent Money and the client s basic login details will be displayed. You are free to send these login details to your client where they can login. NOTE: Clients login is located at www.fluentview.co.uk FAQ Q) Is there a shorter application with just the client s contact details? Not at the moment but we will be adding this soon. Q) What souring tool should I use? If you re not sure what sourcing tool to use selected the Simple Loan Finder. However note that the more details you provide the better the sourcing results. Q) The application does not fix, I can t move on to the next section? You are unable to submit the application if it does not fit any of our lenders criteria. Check all of your client s details and make sure they are perfect. If the sourcing tool does not find a secured loan product then one does not exists. Q) Do I have to enter all the income types? No you can enter a single Basic income as a total of all the known income. Remember that Fluent Money s underwriters will complete a full fact find and their income will be re-assessed at this point. Q) I don t know the correct dates for the CCJs/Defaults, will this matter? Yes, in some cases no secured loan products could be shown. If you do not get any products, remove the adverse item and submit the application. Fluent Money s underwriters may do a credit search (with the client s permission) and get the correct adverse details before sourcing. Q) The client does not have an email address In this case set the email address to test@test.com Q) Do I need to provide all the contact numbers? No, we recommend that you provide the mobile number as this is the most common and successful
way to get in touch with the client. Note providing extra contact details can help Fluent Money in reaching your client and is therefore recommended. Q) Can I (the broker) login to the clients account? No, the account is a basic login that will ask the client for their personal security codes before creating their main account. You will not have access to this information. Client accounts are secured, even Fluent Money can t access them. Q) What do I do next? Once you have submitted an application to Fluent Money you are able to track the progress of each application by using the Case Tracking Tool.
