Welcome to the 2013 Master Builders NT Excellence in Building and Construction Awards... This year the awards will be held on Friday 30th August 2013 and will be an exciting out door event on the lawns of SkyCity. The outdoor stage has been realigned to the middle of the lawns backing on to Mindil Beach. Tables will be no more than four rows from the stage and numbers will be limited to 700 guests, so that everyone can see the action. It promises to be a great event, starting with pre dinner drinks as the sun goes down over Mindil Beach. This year we have a fabulously funny international entertainer, Vince Sorrenti, who will also be the MC for the night. The Master Builders awards are the gala event of the building and construction industry, and recognised as the largest outdoor event after the Darwin Cup Ball. It is a great place to meet friends and colleagues as well as providing a first class networking opportunity. This event is the highlight of the building and construction calendar and recognises the smallest renovation to the largest commercial or civil project in the NT. In addition, apprentices, trainees and students in all construction sectors are recognised, as are the up and coming builders with the Young Builders Award. Master Builders encourage women in the building industry with the poplular Women in Construction Award. OH&S Awards recognise the importance of safety in the construction industry. Major award winners are entered into the Master Builders Australia National Awards. In recent years NT award winners have gone on to win and represent the Northern Territory on the national stage. Winning an award obviously provides considerable personal satisfaction and recognises individual skills and achievements. An award is also a very powerful marketing tool for your business.
