Srikanth Velamakanni, CEO of Fractal Business analytics is the science of using raw data by extensive use of statistical and quantitative analysis for the purpose of fact based decision making and for predicting business outcomes. According to industry report, global data analytics outsourcing market in 2012 stood at $500 million in 2010, of which Indian service providers delivered $375 million. This accounted for 19 per cent of India s $2 billion offshore knowledge services (KPO) market. By 2015, the data analytics market in India is expected to reach $1.15 billion to become 21 per cent of the overall Indian KPO market opportunities of $5.6 billion. Faculty Profile Dr. Surajit Ghosh Dastidar PhD, MBM, Visiting Scholar at the College of Business, University of Toledo, USA. He has around 13+ years of experience in research, teaching and industry. He is the recipient of Outstanding Management Teacher Award and Young Management Researcher Award from AIMS International. He has designed, developed and taught courses on Marketing Analytics, Predictive Modeling, Business Intelligence and Data Mining using Base SAS and SAS Enterprise Miner to MBA, Executive MBA and Doctoral Students. He has published in journals such as Journal of Statistical Software, Journal of Advances in Management Research and International Journal of Applied Strategic Management among others Dr. Sridhar Vaithianathan PhD in Management from ICFAI University, Dehradun. He received his MBA and BE degrees from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Warangal and M.S. University, Tamil Nadu respectively. He is also a NET qualified faculty in Management Studies. He has spent about a year at University of Toledo, Ohio, USA as a Visiting Scholar during Aug 2007 June 2008. He has around 13+ years of experience in research, teaching and industry. Dr. Kaushik Bhattacharya Prof. Kaushik Bhattacharjee has a Master s degree in Business Management and a Bachelor s degree in Statistics from University of Calcutta. His Ph.D. is in the area of international finance with special focus on price discovery process of Indian ADRs. His areas of teaching include Research Methods, Financial Econometrics, Portfolio Management, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income Securities and Banking subjects. He has also taught Financial Modeling using SAS. Some of the above courses he has taught in the Ph.D. level, for both regular and working executive students. His research interests are Empirical Finance, Statistical Modeling of Empirical Economic and Financial Issues, issues related to banking, Risk Management and Microfinance. Before joining academics he had worked in Banking Industry for about five years wherein he worked in renowned private sector banks in different managerial capacity. He resigned from Banking services as a manager. Dr Sourabh Bhattacharya He has completed his Ph.D. in the area of Supply Chain Management. He has been teaching courses such as Quantitative Methods, Operations Management, Project Management and Quality Management for PGP, EPGP and Ph.D. level students. He has also been actively involved in research and management development programs. Few of the clients for which he has been the resource person are GMR Industry Ltd., Hindalco Ltd., Water Health International, Military Engineering Services and Ramky Infrastructures Ltd. Dr. Bhattacharya has a number of national and international research papers and conference under his credit. Whitman School of Management, Syracuse University, USA. He is a consultant in the area of Event Driven Analytics and is actively associated with Metrics 4 Analytics (eventvestor.com). Dr. Preeti Sharma She teaches Web and Text Analytics and ERP. She has done her MCA from IGNOU and PhD from NITIE (Mumbai). Her research is published in reputed international journals like Business Process Management, Emerald publication and International Journal of Electronic Customer Relationship Management, Inderscience publication. Dr. Sivaganasundaram Dr.M.Sivagnanasundaram has about two decades of experience in teaching and Industry. He started his career as a Civil Engineer, dealing with large scale commercial and industrial structures. Subsequently on acquiring his MBA from MKU he got in to the field of academics. Prior to Joining IMT Hyderabad, Dr.Siva was working with Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies, Harihar as an Assistant Professor. Besides teaching Marketing courses at KIAMS he was actively involved with design and delivery of MDPs in the marketing area to the Kirloskar group executives.
