We commit to the leadership in administration and management of information and technology for the growth and prosperity of Thailand's agroindustrial business and value chain. The aim of the department is to produce qualified postgraduates with expertise in management of agro-industrial processes and products. Graduate students enrolled in this department work collaboratively with all departments of the Faculty of Agro-Industry to link science and technology with the business focus of marketing research, supply chain management, and production and manufacturing system modeling and optimization. The program includes several local and international field trips. Students are also encouraged to participate in local and international business and production planning competitions. In general, the department admits full-time students and part-time students a year. Since an establishment in 2003, over 400 graduates are now serving in the leading agri-food companies, government sectors and academic institutions. We currently offer a non-coursework option for international students. Our Ph.D. program in Agro-Industry Technology Management will start in the Semester 1 of the Academic Year Graduate profiles: Age: Work experience: yrs yrs. 2 Academic Program The department offers a Master of Science in Agro-Industrial Technology Management for thesis (full-time) and non-thesis (part-time) options and a Ph.D. program in Agro-Industry Technology Management, starting in year Candidates must have degrees related to agrifood science and technology or engineering. Candidates with other degrees must have working experiences in agro-industry in order to be eligible for admission. Courses offered include agri-food chain production planning and inventory control, material handling and distribution systems, supply chain management, quality system and management, information system and traceability, financial analysis and risk management, food product marketing, marketing research and consumer study, organization and human resource management, research and development management and computational intelligence such as artificial neural network and fuzzy logic. M.S. (Agro-Industrial Technology Management) : Non-Coursework Thesis Option (Plan A1) Applicants must have a baccalaureate degree in related fields from an accredited university or educational institute. A total of 38 credits of thesis (with 2 credits of seminar under audit registration) are required, as follows: A total of 48 credits of thesis (with 4 credits of seminar and 3 credits of major requirement under audit registration) are required, as follows: Major Courses minimum 2 credits (audit) - Seminar 2 credits (audit) Thesis minimum 38 credits Total minimum 38 credits * Main Target: International Students M.S.
