SMART AND SKILLED REALISE YOUR POTENTIAL The NSW Government s Smart and Skilled Program gives eligible people access to government subsidised training in a range of specific industries. College recognises prior skills and knowledge gained through previous studies, which may apply to units of study and assessment requirements for this course. Please contact the office for an RPL kit, fill out the RPL application form, and request an interview to discuss your situation with an advisor. College recognises AQF qualifications and statements of attainment from any other RTO. I have work experience in the industry can I get recognition for that? Yes. College recognises prior skills and knowledge gained through previous work experience, which may apply to units of study and assessment requirements for this course. College recognises AQF qualifications and statements of attainment from any other RTO. Can I study part-time? Yes. Most of our courses are offered on a part-time or full-time basis. Our traineeships allow you to work and study at the same time. Can I get help with applying for a traineeship? Yes. We can speak to your employer and help you both with completing the necessary paperwork. We have traineeships available across all areas of community service and business. What if I don t qualify for Smart and Skilled funding, can I still enrol? Yes. If you re not eligible for Smart and Skilled training, or if your preferred course is not on the NSW Skills List, there are other training options, including fee-for-service training. I am not sure I can pay my fees now. Are student loans available for Smart and Skilled training? Yes. If you enrol in a Diploma, an Advanced Diploma or, in some cases, a Certificate IV qualification, you may be eligible for a VET FEE-HELP loan.
