2 GAIN SUBSTANTIAL INSIGHT INTO WORKPLACE HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR MANAGERS AND SUPERVISORS AIM s Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (BSB41412) will give participants a broad understanding of the roles, practices and processes in relation to the management of worker health and managing the WHS risks associated with the business of the organisation. It is designed to equip you with a thorough understanding of the requirements of legislative, regulatory and compliance frameworks that underpin building a safe, healthy and productive workforce. You ll broaden your skills in WHS areas such as consultation, safety management systems, prevention, early intervention and wellbeing giving you confidence to apply innovative solutions to WHS issues. > Duration This qualification requires 6 days of face-to-face training, followed by an assessment on each unit of competency. If you have no exposure to workplace health and safety responsibilities or are not currently employed please speak to a Senior Training Advisor.

3 QUALIFICATION STRUCTURE > Pre-course Prior to attending your course, you will receive an from AIM directing you to your pre-course work. Ensure you re prepared by thoroughly reading through these materials. Make a note of areas you feel you may need further information on and of questions you want to have answered when you attend class. > Assessment There are no exams for this qualification. You will be given assessments for each course that you attend. Assessments include a series of underpinning knowledge questions and third party reports. Certificate IV WHS (Intensive) 6 Days BSBWHS402A Assist with compliance with WHS laws BSBWHS403A Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS consultation and participation processes BSBWHS404A Contribute to WHS hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control BSBWHS405A Contribute to implementing and maintaining WHS management systems BSBWHS406A Assist with responding to incidents BSBWHS408A Assist with effective WHS management of contractors BSBWHS409A Assist with workplace monitoring processes WHSWHS410A Contribute to work related health and safety measures and initiatives PUAWER002B Ensure workplace emergency prevention procedures, systems and processes are implemented BSBRES401A Analyse and present research information This course provides a substantial insight into workplace health and safety across a range of organisations. You will work through a number of cases and activities designed to focus your attention on achieving a safe, productive and compliance workplace. > FEE HELP now available!
