How Students Log Into IBTP Testing When IBTP tests are scheduled, they may be designated as being administered via a standard browser or the secure tester. The Administer this test with Online Test Option displayed below defines whether the test will be administered via a standard browser or the secure tester. If the Schoolnet Browser Test Tunnel Standard browser setting is selected, the student can take the test via a standard browser or the secure tester. However, if the Schoolnet Secure Tester Schoolnet s built-in Secure Tester delivery system setting is selected, the student can only take the test via the Schoolnet Secure Tester application. If a teacher or administrator has scheduled a test via the FLDOE Item Bank Test Platform (IBTP) and has designated that the test will be administered using the Schoolnet Secure Tester, the students must login using the following instructions to access and take the test. Using Secure Tester will ensure that students are not able to open another browser window and Google to find answers to test questions. This is similar to FSA s Secure Browser. Students may also take tests designated to be administered with the standard browser via the Secure Tester. How Students Log Into Secure Tester for IBTP Testing: 1. Before proceeding, verify that the student has the username and password for their FLDOE Single Sign-on (SSO) account. Teachers can get a report of their student s SSO account usernames and passwords by accessing the Student Access Report available under the Dashboards & Reports header on their FLDOE SSO Home page. a. Student SSO accounts were created in mass for all students enrolled as of 8/28/2015. If a student enrolled after that date, their student SSO account must be created individually before they will be able to take an IBTP test. b. If a student does not have a FLDOE Single Sign-on account, have them go to the following website and click on the New User Registration button and complete the requested information to setup the username and password for their account. https://portal.fldoesso.org/portal/students/student-portal.aspx 2. 3. Double-click on the Schoolnet Secure Tester icon, which should display on the desktop of every computer that will be used for testing. The icon is displayed below: a. If the Schoolnet Secure Tester is not available on the testing computer, it may be installed in the following ways: It comes installed and configured on newly purchased devices. It is installed during the re-imaging process. It is installed via GPO. It can also be manually installed via the ServiceDesk. If you are a Charter school, please reference the FLDOE Downloading and Installing the Secure Tester for MacOSX and Windows documentation available on the IBTP Resources page of the Student Assessment & Research website at: http://www.broward.k12.fl.us/sar/ibtp.htm. 4. If the following screen displays before reaching the FLDOE Single-Sign-On Student Portal login screen, be sure to select Students from the drop-down menu and NOT Broward County School District. WARNING: If an option other than Students is selected like Broward County School District, the browser s cookies will need to be cleared and you will need to access this screen and select Students. 5. The FLDOE Single Sign-On Student Portal login screen displays. The student logs in with their FLDOE Single Sign-On Account username and password. 6. The Online Test Access dialog box displays. Once the student is supplied the test s Online Passcode, they will enter it and click Go. The Passcode is not case sensitive. 7. Their Class and Test Name display. If this is correct, click on the Start Your Test button. a. My Class: If the wrong class displays, they can click on the If this is the wrong class, click here link. A drop-down menu of all of the classes the student is enrolled in displays and they can select another class/course. b. Test Name: If the student is not in the correct test, have them click on the If this is the wrong test, click here link and they will be prompted to reenter the Online Passcode. 8. The test s welcome message screen displays, similar to the one displayed below. Click on the Start Test Now button in the lower-right corner of the screen. 9. The student will take the test and Submit upon completion. How Students Log Into a Standard Browser for IBTP Testing: If a teacher or administrator has scheduled a test via the FLDOE Item Bank Test Platform (IBTP) and has designated that the test will be administered using a standard browser, the students may login to the test using any browser using the following instructions or they may login via the Secure Tester using the instructions listed above. Please note that they will not be allowed to take a test that has been designated to be administered via the Secure Tester using a standard browser. 1. Login to the testing computer using the normal login. 2. Open any browser and go to the following url: https://prodsnibtp.fldoe.org 3. If the following screen displays before reaching the FLDOE Single-Sign-On Student Portal login screen, be sure to select Students from the drop-down menu and NOT Broward County School District. WARNING: If an option other than Students is selected like Broward County School District, the browser s cookies will need to be cleared and you will need to access this screen and select Students. 4. The FLDOE Single Sign-On Student Portal login screen displays. The student logs in with their FLDOE Single Sign-On Account username and password. 5. The Student IBTP Home page displays. Enter the test s Online Passcode and click Go in the field highlighted in yellow in the screenshot below. Note: If the student enters an Online Passcode for a test that has been designated to be administered with the Secure Tester, the following message will display. 6. Verify that the correct test name displays, and click the Start Your Test button. 7. The test s welcome message screen displays, similar to the one displayed below.
