Maersk Drilling Maersk Drilling supports global oil and gas production by providing high-efficiency drilling services to oil companies around the world. We command an extensive and technologically advanced fleet of six harsh environment jack-up rigs, two 375 ft premium jack-up rigs, four 350 ft high efficiency jack-up rigs, a semi-submersible and three ultra deepwater development semi-submersibles. Furthermore, to expand our capacity worldwide, we will add four highly advanced harsh environment jack-up rigs and four ultra deepwater drillships to our fleet in 2014 and onwards into 2016 where the last highly advanced harsh environment jack-up will be delivered. A POWERFUL FLEET Maersk Drilling is a leader in the, where we operate the world s largest and most advanced harsh environment jack-up rigs at water depths up to 150 m. Highly automated, these provide safe working conditions for our crew and increased drilling efficiency for our customers. We have operated jack-up rigs for close to 40 years, including 375 & 350 ft jack-ups in areas such as Southeast Asia, Australia, the Mediterranean, the Middle East and the Gulf of Mexico. We are also experienced in the ultra deepwater market and our highly advanced deepwater development semisubmersibles are capable of operating in water up to 3,000 m deep. Our deepwater semi-submersibles offer both flexibility and efficiency to our customers. Egyptian Drilling Company a joint venture with Egyptian General Petroleum Corporation owns and operates a fleet of more than 55 land rigs and 5 jack-up rigs in the Middle East. CUTTING-EDGE ENGINEERING Maersk Drilling is strongly focused on advanced engineering. Our in-house engineering department develops newbuildings and modifies existing rigs, ensuring that our equipment delivers exactly what our customers need. Our expertise covers many drilling areas, from high pressure and high temperature drilling to technical limit drilling and we remain at the forefront of technological advances, continually delivering industry-leading efficiency. SAFETY AND THE ENVIRONMENT Our deeply embedded safety culture takes a zero-tolerance approach to accidents. We have an array of measures in place to safeguard our people and our operations, to protect the environment and ensure compliance with applicable regulations covering everything from the way we work at sea to the design of our equipment and vessels. DRILLING FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT In addition to the safety of our people and the environment, we work pro-actively with local content; training and developing the talent of local employees, assigning our third party code of conduct to local suppliers, and transferring knowledge to local communities. As we expand our business into new markets in emerging economies, we have to address ever larger challenges and opportunities for sustainable business conduct. With our growth comes a larger responsibility, which we are well prepared to take on. To see our full range of vessels and services, go to www.maerskdrilling.com
