Canrig s racking module is a patented design. The racking module is complete with bridgecrane, mechanized racking board, control cab and a dedicated power unit.

5 Canrig can supply simple mechanized systems or fully automated, hands-free systems. 6 Drill Floor Manipulator Arm (DFMA) Canrig s DFMA is used for a variety of drill floor duties ranging from racking of tubular to tailing of casing and risers. The DFMA can be underslung as shown or floor mounted. It comes with a range of heads for handling collars or risers with buoyancy modules. Tailing Arms and Stabilizing Arm Canrig has a range of tailing arms for mounting in the derrick which are used to stabilize tubulars at the well center. Tubular handling Canrig offers a range of products including gantry cranes, jib arm handling, catwalk machines, conveyors, grab lift and magnetic lift. Riser Management - Horizontal Canrig has a complete Riser Management System that provides the positioning of equipment from the storage rack to the well center. Riser Management - Vertical Canrig provides a complete vertical riser handling system including gantry crane, racking boards and elevating frame. Hydraulic Power Units Canrig provides a range of power units from dedicated units (dedicated to a particular piece of equipment) to centralized power units (4 x 200HP). Power units can include acoustic enclosure and air cooling systems.

7 BOP Handling on Drillships and Semisubmersibles Another way to handle subsea equipment is by cart and overhead cranes. Canrig can supply cart and crane systems, which includes bulkhead guidance, integrated splashzone guidance, insert trolley for trees, auxiliary hoist on crane (for service work) and a retractable test stump frame. Canrig offers a consultancy service whereby we specify the most cost-effective system within the physical constraints of the rig and the client s budget. Subsea Handling Systems (BOP, Xmas trees) Subsea handling equipment needs to be simple, robust and reliable. Canrig has a range of equipment which is grouped together to provide the best systems. TheSE products include: BOP Transporter Skidding Systems BOP Cart BOP Chain Hoists BOP Service Crane Bulkhead Guidance Frames Baseplate Trolley Retractable Test Stumps Tree Trolley Dedicated Power Unit The most common handling system on a semisubmersible is the BOP transporter, with sideways skidding and baseplate/tree trolley. BOP Handling on a Jack-up or Land The BOP on a jack-up is lighter and the handling is often simpler. Canrig provides a range of chain hoists, elevators and transporter cranes. This system is able to test the BOP in full assembly. Splashzone guidance Canrig provides a robust splashzone guidance unit which is telescopic and mounted on the underside of the moonpool. This system restrains the BOP while in the splashzone.
