SAT/ACT scores are not required for undergraduate international students with a grade point average at 75% of highest score. GRE required for Psychology and Counseling graduate programs only. GMAT or GRE required for MBA students. English Language Proficiency In order to begin academic programs at Pittsburg State, all international students must submit an official, passing TOEFL, IELTS or PTE score. Students who do not submit such a score will be required to enroll in and successfully complete PSU s Intensive English Program (IEP) prior to beginning academic coursework. ARTS AND SCIENCES Through extensive programs outside the classroom, the College of Arts & Sciences provides the campus and the larger community with opportunities for cultural, aesthetic, and scientific enrichment and development. Students graduating in Mathematics, Mathematics Education and Actuarial Science enjoy near 100% placement in careers or graduate school. Over 90% of pre-medicine students in the departments of Biology and Chemistry are accepted to medical school on their first application! The Theatre Program produces performances in the new professional state-of-the-art Miller Theater in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. The Broadcasting Program provides students interested in sports broadcasting with experience producing Gorilla football and basketball games using high-definition television techniques.

The College of Technology is home to the only Caterpillar ThinkBIGGER program in the world and a nationally award winning Wood Technology program. Each year students have the opportunity to participate in the College of Technology Company Day where more than 200 companies showcase internship and employment opportunities nationwide. Engineering Technology students participate in projects-based learning, such as the Lunar Rover, SAE Baja and Midcon Cables. The School of Construction works with industry partners to offer paid internships to students starting their freshman year. Students in the Graphics and Imaging Technology programs are repeat winners in district, regional and national Addy events. 9
