TECHNOLOGY The mission of the College of Technology is to continue to be the number one center for excellence in technology for the state of Kansas, as well as the broader region. The College of Technology is home to the only Caterpillar ThinkBIGGER program in the world and a nationally award winning Wood Technology program. Each year students have the opportunity to participate in the College of Technology Company Day where more than 200 companies showcase internship and employment opportunities nationwide. Engineering Technology students participate in projects-based learning, such as the Lunar Rover, SAE Baja and Midcon Cables. The School of Construction works with industry partners to offer paid internships to students starting their freshman year.
