You may pay your loan from a non-dcu checking or savings account using our Online Loan Payment feature. Once you have made your first payment via the Online Loan Payment feature, you may enroll to receive monthly email reminders with a link to pay your loan from the email. You may also enroll in monthly text reminders, in which you can pay by replying to the text. To pay your loan with funds from a DCU checking or savings account, please do not use the Online Loan Payment feature. You may transfer funds to your loan account within online banking using the transfer function. Paying Your DCU Loan Online 1. Log into DCU Online (online banking) at www.dardencu.com. 2. On the Account Summary page, you will find a link to make a loan payment within the Loan Accounts box. 3. Select the loan you want to pay. Click Submit. 4. Confirm your personal information and payment amount. Your name, account number, loan ID, email address and mobile phone (if we have on file) should auto-populate. Please confirm all information is correct. If no mobile number is listed, please provide if you would like to be able to receive reminders and make payments via text.
5. Select method of payment- echeck or Debit/Credit Card. To pay via echeck: Enter your bank routing number and account/micr number. Re-enter your routing number to confirm. You can find this information on the bottom of your checks or by contacting your financial institution. If you are making a one-time payment, click Next Step. If paying by echeck, you have the option of establishing recurring monthly payments. Check the Schedule Future Payments box and complete the following information to set up recurring payments: Day of Month to Pay First Payment Month/Year (month following the payment you are making) Last Payment Month/Year Click Next Step
To pay via a debit or credit card: Enter you card number, expiration date and zip code for card s billing address. 6. Click Next Step Verify 7. Verify that your personal, loan and payment information is correct. You will be given the option to enroll in Pay-by-Email or Pay-by-Text reminders at that time (see following pages for details). NOTE: Payments initiated with a Visa credit or debit card will require an additional step on the Verify Payment page. Call 888.966.9141 to retrieve a Visa verification code, and enter code into field.
8. Enroll in Pay-by-Text or Pay-by-Email (optional) and select the day of month for reminder. 9. Click Confirm Pay Now to make payment 10. You will receive a confirmation screen with payment reference number as well as a confirmation email. Payment Processing Information Your payment will be posted and effective the following business day. If you made a payment in error, or paid an incorrect amount, contact us as soon as possible for correction.
Pay-by-Email Monthly, you will receive an email that looks like the sample below. 1. Click the link provided in the email to make your payment. Using this option, you will not need to log into online banking to make a payment. 2. Your personal, loan and payment information will be displayed. Confirm information is accurate and payment amount displayed is the amount you would like to pay. 3. Payment will be made using the payment information we have on file from your last payment. You are given the option to change the method of payment, if you desire. 4. You may unsubscribe from Pay-by-Email reminders at any time by clicking the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.
Pay-by-Text 1. On the day of month selected, you will receive a text from 407-219-9988 with a reminder to pay your loan. You can pay by clicking the web link within the text, or by replying to the text. 2. To pay via text, reply with Pay and the dollar amount you want to pay (for example, Pay $250). 3. Payment will be made by the payment method we have on file from your last payment. If you would like to change the payment method information, use the web link contained in the text. 4.
