ROADMAP to a Bachelor s Degree in Nursing in Partnership with Associate Degree Nursing Program A collaborative pathway exists between Associate Degree Nursing Program and San Diego State University (SDSU) that provide students interested in earning a bachelor s of science degree. The program is designed to provide the education necessary for licensure eligibility and practice as a Registered Nurse (RN). In addition, the program provides opportunities for continuing education beyond licensure to cover concepts in professionalism, advanced assessment, evidence based practice and nursing research, leadership, community health, and the ability to expand their nursing practice. Interested students must first meet all requirements for and complete the Associate Degree RN (ADRN) Program. Upon licensure, students can then progress into the SDSU- Bachelor of Science Degree (BS) Program. Early advising is important to meeting all admission requirements and progressing through both programs in a timely manner. The following ROADMAP outlines what courses are needed for both programs and it is subject to change. Please continue to visit the websites for updated information.
