Learning a few key skills for time management can help you get back on track. First, spend time planning and set goals. Make a "To Do" list that shows the smaller steps needed to reach your goals. This helps break down larger tasks into smaller ones. Next, decide when to work. Make a schedule. What time of day are you at your best? Are you a morning person or a night owl? Plan to do more difficult tasks at that time of day. Decide on things you don't have to do, and take them off your list. And learn to say "No." It's hard, but it's an important skill.
