Writers Workshop at Adrian Middle School 7/8 Building Professor Beth Myers ENGL 310 Teaching Writing students hosted a Writers Workshop at the Adrian Middle School 7/8 Building for the fall semester every Tuesday from 3:00 4:30 PM. The Writers Workshop was an after school activity to help students find their writing voice. Teacher Education student, Garret Gabalis, is working with students on their writing. It was nice to collaborate as a large group and provide something great to give back to our community. Our group was a combination of teacher education students and English majors. We learned a lot from one another as well as the talented seventh and eighth grade students we worked with. I am thankful to Professor Meyers for giving us the opportunity to grow in our craft as well as the insight she carefully scaffolded. - Nicole Gestwite, T ED Student 3
