General view of the machine and the main parts: safety devices, machine outlines, main components, operations, optional, accessories. Installation: layout, connection points, working dimensions, electric, pneumatic, flooring, environmental requirements, levelling, anchoring the machine, positioning the control console, fitting the safety system. Basic concepts for users: axes, movement of axes in manual mode, variation of the axis speed of movement, working area (panel). How to use the machine: characteristics and dimensions of workable materials, users work area, danger area, indicator devices, main switch, control panel. Starting-up, Stopping, Restarting, Turning off the machine. Carrying out machining operations: operating functions & sequences. Routine maintenance (intro). Trouble shooting (intro). Import Dxf, Manual/Automatic: list of drawing commands, BiesseWorks CNI type formalism, BiesseWorks DXF type formalism, creating Program with Import DXF Manual/Automatic. 2.7 Window s Manufacturing Work-center 2 days. Prerequisites Window s Technology. General view of a window s manufacturing workcenter: general machine overview, loading and unloading system, working plane, printer device, glazing bead separator unit, machine working cycles, machine origins, origins setting, operating unit s layout, main differences with a traditional CNC machine. Diagnostic and trouble shooting (new components). Maintenance: routine maintenance operations, extraordinary maintenance operations. Design and manufacture of a window. Operations staff (furniture manufacturing plants). On the job training with expert technician. - Know and understand the basic steps of window processing (specific work center). - Recognize workmanship, output (finished product) and machine tools quality. - Be able to solve major problems on window processing. Maintenance basics: Main principles, Total Productive Maintenance, Rapid Tool Setting (SMED), the 5 S, Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Basic concepts for Maintenance Technicians: installation req., working area, characteristics and dimensions of workable materials, users work area, danger area, controls and indicator devices, control panel. Machine Maintenance: Before starting (warnings), general cleaning, scheduled maintenance, lubricants, trouble shooting. Drives Maintenance: mechanic components maintenance operations, electric components maintenance operations, pneumatic components maintenance operations. Recommended spare parts kit. Concept of CNC machine: basic components of CNC machine, CNC control, CNC programming. CAD/CAM basics: Control Systems: CNI, HSD, OSAI. Software: BIESSE CAD/CAM, BIESSE WORKS, AUTOCAD. 2.11 Mechanic Basics 2-3 days. Basics of mechanics. Lubricants, levers, gears, gearboxes. Transmission devices: belt, chain, gear, ball screw, joint. Rotation or movement devices: pulley bearings, shafts, linear bearings. Measures, tools: micrometers, calipers, comparators. Ferrous materials. Elements of technical drawing. Main components: relay contactors, timers, sensors, transformers, DC motors, three phase motors, brushless motors, inverter-controlled motors, stepper motors, power plants. Handling axis (drive chain), transducers of position, velocity transducers, numerical control (data) axis cards, inverters, drives / motors, I/O, PLC. Basic Concept of CNC machine & components. 2.14 Woods & Panels 1-2 days. Wood properties, classification, defects. Wood-based materials: veneer and plywood, plywood & composites, particle board, fiber. Non-wood materials: laminated plastic; leaves PVC furniture, doors and edges; synthetic solid surfaces, varnishes; glue, finishing of flat surfaces. Panel Technology: chipping, drilling, cutting a panel, pantograph, folding. Tools: overview, materials and construction techniques and features, Sharpening, special tools for applications on machines BIESSE: boring bits, tools, scissor blades. Dust Suction systems. Line Supervisor (furniture manufacturing plants). Maintenance, Woodworking Industry. - Know wood technologies and panel materials. - Know, understand and recognize output quality issues. - Understand panel processing. 2.15 Woodworking Industry 1-2 days. Overview of Secondary Wood Industry: industry segments, products, materials, production techniques, manufacturing equipment and processes. Cabinet s construction methods. Process Layout and Line Balancing (basics). Lean Manufacturing (basics). Total Productive Maintenance (basics). Overall Equipment Effectiveness. Line Supervisor (furniture manufacturing plants). 3. Registration Terms and Conditions 3.1 Training Courses Contents Please refer to the learning outcomes and to the training program. The topics covered in the training courses are shown in the training program. However, we reserve the right to alter the content or organization of training course. 3.2 Precondition for participants The learning outcomes of the training courses cannot be achieved if the prerequisites indicated are not met or the time indicated is not allocated. If necessary, the Pesaro Training Center can check that the preconditions are satisfied in the form of tests. All participants will receive a certificate after successful participation providing the required prerequisites are met. 3.3 Training fees Fees are charged at a rate of 100% for the first participant and 50% for all additional participants from the same company. This offer only applies if all participants attend the course on the same dates. The fees shown include: training course, all training documentation, refreshments during breaks, and lunch in our cafeteria. Travel & accommodation costs are not included. Attendance of only part of the course does not entitle the participant/company to a reduction in training fees. 3.4 Training location Training courses are normally held at the Pesaro Training Center (BIESSE Group headquarter). Upon request, we can also conduct training courses at your location (on your machine/installation).we will be glad to prepare a quote. 3.5 Training times Training activity begins at 9:00 a.m., each training session is for about 7 hours every day (see Section 4). Participants can be reached by telephone during the lunch break (from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.). 3.6 Cancellation by the Pesaro Training Center The Pesaro Training Center has the right to cancel training courses. In such cases, any training fees already paid will be refunded. Participants shall have no recourse beyond this provision. Training courses will be conducted with classes of at least 3 participants. If registration numbers are too low, we reserve the right to cancel training courses. 3.7 Foreign Languages Training courses are projected to be held in Italian and in English. Interpreters can be engaged for other languages directly by the Customer or by us (in this case offering/invoicing for this service will be done according to cost). 3.8 Hotel reservation Contact address: training@biesse.com. Upon request, we can make your hotel reservations. If you wish to take advantage of this offer, please indicate your arrival and departure dates. With the confirmation of dates, you will receive directions on how to reach the hotel. You must settle your hotel bill yourself when you check out. Any contractual relationship regarding hotel services shall be exclusively between you and the hotel. 3.9 Registration Please use the Training Request Form to register/enquiry for a training course (including the names of persons we can telephone to discuss training issues). If you ordered a training course with your machine (through our Sales department), we will set the dates in a timely manner. Training courses ordered with the machine can be held up to six months after the order confirmation date. 3.10 Confirmation of registration For each request, you will receive a written offer with all the necessary information.
