SPORT AND FITNESS Whether you re looking to build a career in fitness, health and exercise, or sports coaching, our programmes will equip you with leadership, communication and teamwork skills to succeed in the multi-million pound sport and fitness industry. We offer courses from NC to degree level, including a high performance level in sports such as rugby, football and basketball. You ll have the chance to participate in sporting events through Scottish Student Sport, with the possibility of qualifying for competitions via National Squads Selection. Our partnership with South West Edinburgh Hub also offers you fantastic work and voluntary experience. FACILITIES We have three superb sport and fitness centres at our ranton, Milton road and Sighthill campuses. In addition, at our Milton Road campus The Club offers you a state-of-the art fitness centre and spa. Not only is this the perfect place for dedicated skills practice, it s a great way to put your training into practice by gaining real-life experience in a commercial gym. You ll be taught by experienced coaches, personal trainers, and specialist consultants. The combination of professional support with our state-of-the-art gyms, sport halls and outdoor facilities ensure you are prepared for Higher Education, direct employment or to start up your own business. Personally, I found the course played a massive part in me retaining my World Title. Being able to train and spend time with like-minded athletes (students and tutors) made the course very enjoyable. I would recommend this course to any athlete who is looking to continue to progress in their sport. I felt the course was beneficial as I was able to focus on my training and fit it in with my studies at college.
