It also has steps on how to install the necessary application to allow you to access LEO when you are using your own internet connection. G1: Accessing LEO in school The steps below will guide you on how to access LEO using your personal laptop in school. Step 1: Connect to RP Wireless Please make sure that your computer is connected to RP-Wireless Note: You may see the status of your connection as LIMITED instead of CONNECTED. This is totally normal. Step 2: Open Web Browser Open Internet Explorer; you will be greeted with a Windows Security pop-up. Your Username is: RP\STUDENTID Your Password will be given to you when you visit IT Helpdesk which would have been written on the first page of this guide (for printed copy). On successful credentials, your homepage will load.

Step 3: Accessing LEO After your home page for your browser has loaded, type leo.rp.edu.sg in the URL bar and press ENTER You will once again be prompted to enter username and password Please note that is it normal if the browser asks for credentials more than once when loading the website. On successful credentials, LEO will have loaded.

G2: Installing and Using RP Student VPN The steps below will guide you on how to install RP Student VPN which is meant for you to be able to access LEO using your personal laptop at home. Please note that in order for you to be able to download the StudentVPN, you need to be connected to RP- Wireless. In other words, you need to be in school and connected to RP-Wireless to be able to access and download the installer. Step 1: Accessing IT Helpdesk Page In the same LEO page, you will see a link to IT Helpdesk; click on that link. Please refer to the screenshot below for reference on where to find the link. If you get prompted for credentials, it s the same ones as specified in Guide 1 Step 2

Step 2: Downloading RP Student VPN Scroll down to hot downloads and click on the XX-bit StudentVPN as shown in the screenshot below. Please save the file to your preferred location or use the default location. Step 3: Installing RP Student VPN Run the installer and follow the screenshots shown below. Click Yes

Change the connection availability from My use only to All users You will get a User Account Control Prompt, please click on Yes for that prompt. Also check the option to create a shortcut on the desktop. Click OK once your settings looks like the one shown here Click on Properties

A pop-up will appear saying that there is no modem installed and whether would you like to install a modem now. Click No Make sure that I am already connected to the Internet is checked and click on OK

Step 4: Using RP Student VPN Type in as follows: User name: Your Student ID Password: The password given to you by IT Helpdesk Logon Domain: RP (case-insensitive) Click on Connect once done On successful connectivity, the VPN dialog box will disappear. If you check your network connections, you will see something similar to the screenshot shown.

G3: Accessing LEO At Home The steps below will guide you on how to access LEO using your personal laptop at home. Please make sure that you have completed G2: Installing and Using RP Student VPN before proceeding to this section. Step 1: Open your web browser Please make sure that you are already connected via RP Student VPN. Open Internet Explorer and you will be prompted to enter your credentials again. This time, you will only have to enter your password as the username will be auto-detected. Step 2: Accessing LEO This step is the same as G1 Step 3. Type the URL leo.rp.edu.sg and you will be prompted to enter your credentials. You will only have to enter your password as the username will be auto-detected.
