MODERN ARCHITECTURE WebWorks is the viewing component of Roentgen Works, a next generation PACS/RIS, designed using the latest development tools for web applications. Its architecture supports rapid deployment, expandability and redundancy via clustering techniques. New nodes can be deployed within minutes; nodes can be added / removed into clusters in even less time. Using a stateless architecture and load balancers, failover for logged-on users occurs in real-time, without requiring the user to log-in again.
