Whether you are reading studies, assuring the quality of your exams, or simply reviewing documents, a Gateway Viewer is versatile enough to assist you in getting the job done right. Used day-to-day by users worldwide, our Gateway Viewers are known for their reliability and flexibility in all types of clinical environments. You can expect the Gateway QC or Mammo viewer to improve your efficiency because they are built on the same standards compliant SQL database and enterprise grade DICOM engine as our PACS to give you the reliability you need. UNIQUE GATEWAY VIEWER FEATURE: Electronic Forms and Report Templates* provide a unique and seamless integration with Microsoft Word to our end users with hundreds of default report templates, structured reports (based on RSNA Guidelines) and patient documents. Unlike other vendors, RamSoft has taken the extra effort in developing this integration to allow users to create reports and templates without having to contact support each time a change is required. PowerReader has the ability to insert key images into the report, and has over 175 data bookmarks available. *Included if Report Distribution Interface option is licensed. Sophisticated Image Manipulation Tools Advanced Visualization includes Multiplanar Reformatting (MPR) tools to reconstruct two-dimensional views of a series after creating a three-dimensional volume. Users are able to change the layout, view modes and the viewing angle in MPR view. This value-added feature provides radiologists with more tools to make accurate diagnoses for referring physicians. Oftentimes, 3D is only available on a separate 3D workstation and integration is required to do a DICOM push. With MPR tools built in, reading physicians will not have to disrupt their workflow to provide a final read. This is especially important for cases that require MIP as part of the interpretation. Allowable Slab MPR Views include MIP, MinIP and AveIP in addition to Volume Rendering, 360 degree rotation, curved and cross-sectional modes. Additionally, the MPR module allows you to derive brand new image series in any plane and Image Capture acquires an entire reconstructed series or individual key MPR images which can be then shared with referring physicians. PET/CT Fusion provides the ability to view a PET series on top of a CT series and fuse the two into a new series so anatomical and physiological information can be viewed simultaneously. This feature is important, for example, in planning radiation therapy protocols for cancer patients.

Both models offer the enhanced functionality your facility needs to meet both present and future challenges such as: Full QC Capabilities are available for the technologist to use after acquiring images. During this process, a comparison to any relevant priors can be made to identify obvious pathology. The Gateway Viewers PowerReader software can be used in many different environments. Customizable Worklist is one of the most powerful customizable worklists out in the market today. Imaging healthcare providers have the ability to create default worklists by department, role and user without having to purchase a full RIS solution. This feature allows you to browse through patient studies from one screen and provides up-to-date status for each, aggregating multiple facilities into one single worklist. Each user and/or department is able to customize their worklist specific to their daily tasks. Study documents, voice clips and dictations are also accessible from this screen with a simple click. Built in DICOM Routing Engine provides Gateway QC and Mammo Viewer with a HIPAA compliant routing engine so you can tailor your study routing rules to fit your schedule. The routing mechanism is so flexible you can route studies by status, modality, facility, physicians, times, dates, AE title and many other DICOM tags. Additionally, the embedded router technology allows you to effortlessly route prior exams along with new exams. Images stored on any DICOM compliant device can be automatically retrieved and sent to any destination. Viewing Protocols utilize an easy drag and drop process for setup and customization. This feature enables protocols to work uniformly across complex multi-facility scenarios. Individual users can create custom viewing environments that automatically match preferences for study type and hardware. Once defined, the end user never has to worry about the way images are displayed again. View Multiple Patients Simultaneously allows direct comparisons between different patients while keeping the users preferences intact. This important feature also provides radiologists with the ability to view and report on high priority studies without disrupting the study they are currently working on. Customizable Mouse Presets are especially important for radiologists who are comfortable with a particular way of doing things. This feature expands the radiologist s ability to set the mouse to their preferred behavior and can mimic other image viewers. CD/DVD Burning & Exam Distribution is available in both the Gateway QC and Mammo viewer. Completed exams may be burned onto CD/DVDs with Clinical Review software or transmitted through your network connection to another location. Relevant Prior Matching is managed by user-defined rules that the system will use to pre-fetch clinically relevant priors for studies that have arrived in the system. Studies can be pulled from multiple DICOM archives and pushed to other DICOM devices. Audit Trails provide you with the ability to monitor user activity within the system. There are four types of audit trails: Patient, Study, User and Print Log. These reports are used to identify which patient studies or patient data has been accessed by system users and the actions that have been performed. Audit trails are important to monitor system security and maintain HIPAA compliance.

Custom Scriptable Routing Rules allow for custom routing and processing to be performed using almost any tag in a DICOM object that is being received or transmitted. Reporting Options Report Distribution* Interface automatically distributes reports to referring physicians, consulting facilities and other facilities via auto-faxing and auto- ing. Automatic report distribution immediately sends a preliminary or final report to your referring physicians, which reduces the turnaround time for delivering reports and provides diagnoses to patients quicker. Auto Report Faxing* integrations with InterFax, MyFax and ActFax provide Gateway QC and Mammo users with the option to select a faxing solution that best fits their business needs. Automated faxing services reduce administrative tasks because report distribution is built right into the workflow. To confirm a fax was sent, simply review the system s Communication Logs. Optional Peripherals Rapid Keys Keypads allows radiologists to toggle through images and is useful for all modalities in addition to mammography. A tight integration with Voice Recognition Software offers practitioners added convenience and functionality for reporting. Radiologists can dictate reports into the customizable structured templates (based on RSNA guidelines). The two applications work seamlessly allowing for a more efficient workflow. Additionally, radiologists can also use voice commands to navigate the PowerReader software to create a new report, select the template, fill in a structured template, and sign the report to distribute to the referring physician. Your practice may be able to reduce your need for transcription, which speeds up the turnaround time for reporting while reducing administrative and operating costs.

6 Gateway Mammo Viewer Specific Features Gateway Mammo Viewer is an FDA approved, IHE mammography profile compliant software workstation. It combines the mammography-specific image management and reporting tools previously available only in dedicated mammography workstations with the flexibility of a multi-modality radiology workstation. Available as a software only solution or a bundled 3 or 4 monitor workstation, Gateway Mammo Viewer is competitively priced so you can get a complete workstation up and running at your site. Four Monitor Support allows the Gateway Mammo Viewer to support mixed-resolutions and color depths so radiologists can easily view and compare breast MRI, mammography, and ultrasound images from a single interface at the same time. This simplifies the radiologists reading experience and eliminates the need to work with multiple workstations. Auto Size Images automatically to best fit, true size, or pixel size regardless of the mammography unit that acquired the images. This allows for easy comparison of current and prior studies from different vendors including Fuji, GE, Hologic, Konica and Siemens. Auto Layout and Matching sorts the left and right views and matches them to any relevant priors stored in the system for easy comparison. Popular vertical and horizontal comparison modes are supported to enable customization and enhance ease of use. Flexible CAD Overlays work with any mammography package that conforms to DICOM CAD specifications, including Hologic and icad. The overlays display both calcification clusters and mass/density in tissues via polygon and ellipse markers. Optimized Reading utilizes enhanced window and level algorithms to provide the greatest image quality and smoothest reading experience possible. System Integration allows the Gateway Mammo Viewer to work with all mammography systems and printers. Desktop and HL7 integration is available with mammography information systems including MagView, MRS, and PenRad. Furthermore, MRI CAD integration is available with vendors including Dynacad and Sentinel.
