Georg Steinberger Vice President Communications Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA Chairman of DMASS Having graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich with an MA, Steinberger joined the editorial team of Markt and Technik, a leading central European electronics trade publication rising to become Chief Editor. In 1998 Steinberger was appointed Vice-President Communications at Avnet Electronics Marketing EMEA and in 2003 promoted to Vice-President Environmental Affairs & Compliance at Avnet Electronics, responsible for the implementation and monitoring of activities to ensure legal compliance with environmental regulations. Alongside his role at Avnet, Steinberger is also Chairman of the German electronic components trade association FBDi e.v and Chairman of Distributors and Manufacturers Association of Semiconductor Specialists (DMASS).

Otmar Deubzer Consultant International Product Recycling and Sustainability Fraunhofer Institute Deubzer has been working with the Fraunhofer Institute for Reliability and Microintegration (IZM) and the Berlin Institute of Technology since From 1999 to 2001 he worked at the University of Tokyo in Japan where he researched the economical and ecological impacts of material bans in electronics products as stipulated in the European RoHS Directive. At Fraunhofer IZM he has been working for the European Commission on the review of the exemptions from material bans in the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive and the RoHS Directive since Otmar has also been active as an international consultant for key industry players on European legislation mainly the RoHS-, WEEE- and REACH Directives. Since 2008 Deubzer holds a position as a guest professor lecturing on industrial sustainability at the Technical University of Cottbus in Germany and as consultant to the SCYCLE operating unit of the UNU Institute for Sustainability and Peace (UNU-ISP). His research and other activities focus on end-of-life quality standards for e-waste and on international consulting on e-waste management. 12:15 The Russian Electronic Components Market An Overview... Roman Kamaletdinov Project Manager Association of Suppliers of Electronic Components Kamaletdinov graduated from Moscow Institute of Electronic Engineering (Zelenograd) with a degree in Marketing. Currently a project manager in Association of Suppliers of Electronic Components and Marketing Manager of Analysis Center of Modern Electronics, his activities are concentrated on projects related market research and promotion of the association and developing the association s code of conduct. His activities include the development of collecting industry statistical data and then analyzing and reporting to members and the wider community having presented at more than 10 industry seminars in the last six months. 12:30 Connector Industry: The Road Ahead... Arthur Visser Managing Director - Europe Associates Inc Visser has been active as a professional in the industrial (electronics) market for 25 years. He started his career in 1987 at Océ Corporate headquarters in Venlo, the Netherlands, and has since worked in management positions for OMRON Corporation, a leader in industrial automation equipment, and later as managing director for HARTING Belgium/Luxembourg, a leader in industrial heavy duty connectors. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Airplane Engineering, Visser also has degrees in Marketing and Finance, and a Master s degree in e-media Engineering. His native tongue is Dutch, but he also speaks fluent English, French and German. Using his background, experience and education as a stepping-stone, Visser established his own company in 2003 and is based in Brussels, Belgium.

Malcolm Penn Chairman & Chief Executive Officer Future Horizons Penn is the Chairman, CEO and founder of Future Horizons, one of the world s top global semiconductor industry analysts. He is also the President of Future Horizons' Moscow-based subsidiary, East-West Electronics, the world s top market research consultant on the Russian and East European electronics industry. Penn has over 45 years experience in the semiconductor industry and has worked extensively throughout Europe as well as in the United States, the former USSR, Japan, Korea and Israel. Prior to joining Arrow, Martin worked as a supply chain management consultant with A.T. Kearney and Mercer Management Consulting. In this capacity, Martin developed supply chain strategies for leading companies in North America, Europe and Asia. Glenn Palmer Managing Director European Distribution Murata Palmer joined Murata in June 1990 in the position of Customer Services Manager following 8 years with the Pilkington group. He was appointed OEM Sales Manager in 1995, then Sales & Marketing Manager in 1998, moving on to Sales & Marketing Director in 2002 and Deputy Managing Director in In April 2007 he was appointed to Managing Director of Murata Electronics UK and in April 2010 to now he is Managing Director European Distribution and National Accounts in Murata Europe. 16:00 Supporting Design Engineers Development Using the International Fortronic Programme. Gary Kibblewhite Industry Advisor Fortronic Kibblewhite has had a distinguished career in the electronic components industry having been Group Managing Director of five component and computer distribution companies and a central warehouse for Lex Electronics UK Limited. Previously Kibblewhite was Director of European Business Development for Lex Electronics where he acquired companies in the UK and France. Prior to joining Lex Group Kibblewhite was Director of Marketing for ITT Cannon Europe based in Brussels and a Founding Partner of Europartners Consultants and creator of the Europartners Distribution Report. Alongside his business roles Kibblewhite provided industry leadership as Chairman of IDEA and Chairman of afdec for over twenty years, he also served as a Non-Exec Director of Abacus plc. Gary has recently been made a Fellow of the Institute of Directors and is currently working to encourage design engineering skill development via the international Fortronic events programme. 16:15 The Electronic Components Markets in China An Update... Amy Wang Vice President China Outlook Consulting Wang is Vice President of China Outlook Consulting (COC) and CNT Networks. COC is a consulting firm that provides focused marketing research on China s distribution services and emerging markets for international semiconductor and component companies and electronics distributors. In early 2011, Wang played a key role in organizing the China Electronics Distributor Alliance (CEDA). She speaks frequently at international industrial conferences and writes for leading international electronics publications.

Rajoo Goel Secretary General ELCINA Since 2003 Goel has served as the Secretary General of ELCINA ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES ASSOCIATION OF INDIA, the oldest and largest association of Electronic Hardware industries with a focus on electronic component and equipment manufacturing. Initially involved in the services industry while working for IDM Pvt Ltd., Mumbai, a Software and Data Processing company followed by General Electric, Meter Business Division, NH, USA in systems analysis and programming as well as cofounding an auto-parts manufacturing business.
