1 John Amore CEO General Insurance John Amore is a member of the Group Executive Committee and CEO of General Insurance for (Zurich). Mr. Amore joined Zurich in Before being named CEO of Zurich US in December 2000, he served as CEO of the Zurich US Specialties business unit. In July 2001 he became a member of the Group Executive Committee and was appointed CEO of Zurich North America. He held this position until the end of August In April 2004 he was appointed CEO of General Insurance, and since September 2004 he has been concentrating on this global leadership role. Before joining Zurich, he was a senior executive at American International Group (AIG). Mr. Amore served as chairman of the American Insurance Association and was a member of its board from 2001 until March He serves as a member of the board of overseers for the School of Risk Management, Insurance and Actuarial Science at St. John s University in New York. He is an elected partner for the Partnership for New York City, an organization dedicated to maintaining the city s position as a global center of commerce and innovation and serves on the US Chamber of Commerce s board of directors. Mr. Amore graduated with a degree in management from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Daytona Beach (US), and with an MBA in finance from New York University.

2 Mike Foley serves as chief executive officer of Zurich s North America Commercial business division and is also a member of the Zurich Group Executive Committee (GEC). Mike Foley Chief Executive Officer Zurich North America Commercial Mr. Foley became CEO effective Jan. 1, His previous position was North America Commercial Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for all operating matters relating to NAC s businesses and functions as well as driving strategic initiatives. He also had responsibility for Corporate Operations, Business Engineering and Group IT/North America. Prior to joining Zurich in 2006, Mr. Foley served as the leader of McKinsey & Company s North American Property & Casualty insurance practice. He joined McKinsey in 1996 and was named a principal in Mr. Foley holds a master s degree from The Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor s degree in mathematics and economics from Fairfield University.

3 Mike Kerner is Chief Executive Officer for Zurich Global Corporate in North America, and is responsible for all Zurich Global Corporate business in North America and Latin America. Mr. Kerner has held positions with Zurich since Michael Kerner Chief Executive Officer Global Corporate in North America Previously, Mr. Kerner was Global Chief Underwriting Officer and Head of Group Strategy for Group, and was based in Zurich, Switzerland. In those roles, he was responsible for underwriting policy, governance and execution as well as for the development, communication and implementation of the Group s strategy. Mr. Kerner also served as Global Head of Group Reinsurance with responsibility for buying external reinsurance protections for Zurich s Global insurance portfolio and using reinsurance as an internal capital and risk management tool for the many Zurich legal entities around the world. His career at Zurich has included the role of Executive Vice President for Group Reinsurance in North America, with responsibility for reinsurance purchasing for Zurich in the US and Canada and various Actuarial, Administration, Finance and Systems Management roles within the Zurich North America Specialties Business Unit. Mr. Kerner is a graduate of the State University of New York at Binghamton, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Economics. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society and a Member of the American Academy of Actuaries.

4 Axel P. Lehmann Group Chief Risk Officer Axel P. Lehmann is a member of the Group Executive Committee and Group Chief Risk Officer of (Zurich). In 1996 he joined Zurich as a member of the Executive Management team of Zurich Switzerland and subsequently held various executive management and corporate development positions within Zurich Switzerland. Mr. Lehmann became a member of the Group Management Board responsible for Group-wide business development functions in November In September 2001 he took over responsibility for the former Northern Europe region and subsequently was appointed CEO of the Zurich Group Germany. Mr. Lehmann was promoted to a member of the Group Executive Committee and CEO of the Continental Europe Business Division in March In 2004 he was in charge of integrating Continental Europe, UK and Ireland and in March he was appointed CEO to create the Europe General Insurance Business Division. In September 2004 Mr. Lehmann was appointed CEO Zurich North America Commercial (Schaumburg/Chicago). In January 2008 he assumed his current role as Group Chief Risk Officer and is in addition responsible for Group IT. From 1985 Mr. Lehmann worked as a project manager and research associate at the Institute for Insurance Economics at the University of St. Gallen. In 1989 he was appointed a lecturer in business administration and in 1990 vice president and head of Consulting and Management Development at the Institute for Insurance Economics and the European Center. In 1994/95 he served as a visiting professor at Bocconi University in Milan, Italy. He subsequently assumed the position of head of Corporate Planning and Corporate Controlling at Swiss Life in Zurich. Mr. Lehmann is an honorary professor for business administration and service management and chairman of the board of the Institute of Insurance Economics (IVW-HSG) at University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. He completed his studies in business administration and economics at the University of St. Gallen in 1984 with a focus on risk management and insurance economics. In 1989 he was awarded the title of doctor (Dr. oec. HSG) and his PhD thesis was awarded the Peter Werhahn Prize for the best thesis in the area of management science and academic theory. After research study at Harvard Business School and Arizona State University, he received his postdoctoral qualification in 1996 and was appointed senior lecturer and assistant professor at the University of St. Gallen. He is a graduate of the Wharton School Advanced Management Program.

5 Geoffrey (Geoff) Riddell Chairman of Global Corporate and CEO Asia-Pacific and Middle East Geoffrey (Geoff) Riddell (born 1956, British Citizen) is a member of the Group Executive Committee and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Global Corporate Business of (Zurich). He joined Zurich in May 2000, initially as managing director of Zurich Commercial in the UK, and then became managing director of the UK Corporate and Government businesses. In November 2002 he was appointed CEO of General Insurance in the UK, Ireland and Southern Africa. Mr. Riddell assumed his current position in April 2004, and was promoted to a member of the Group Executive Committee in October Since January 1, 2009, he assumes additional responsibilities overseeing the Group s operations in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region, in addition to assuming the new position of Chairman of Global Corporate. Mr. Riddell started his career with Price Waterhouse in 1978 and four years later moved to AIG, where he held various roles, including country manager for Hong Kong, Belgium and France. While in Hong Kong, he was responsible for setting up the first foreign general insurance company in China. Mr. Riddell is a former member of the General Insurance Council of the Association of British Insurers and was for three years chaired its liability committee. From 1990 to 1995, he was a member of the Hong Kong Federation of Insurers Council. He became a director of Pool Re in February 2005 and of the Forum for Global Health Protection in He is a member of the Foundation Board of IMD, Lausanne. He is also a member of the Confederation of the British Industry International Advisory Board, a member of the City EU Advisory Committee and of the London s Advisory Committee. Mr. Riddell holds a MA degree in natural sciences (chemistry) from Oxford University (The Queen s College) and later qualified as a chartered accountant.

6 Mario P. Vitale is a member of the Group Management Board of (Zurich) and CEO, Global Corporate. He joined Zurich in October Mr. Vitale has responsibility for all Zurich Global Corporate business in North America and more recently in Latin America, Europe and Asia/Pacific. Mario P. Vitale CEO, Global Corporate Mr. Vitale embarked on his professional career at the Home Insurance Company, followed by 31 years of global experience in various insurance industry leadership positions. Prior to joining Zurich, he served with the global broker, Willis Group Holdings, for six years and as CEO of Willis North America, for four years. In October of 2002, he was appointed chairman of the global large account practice, overseeing the broker s efforts with the Fortune 1000, the private equivalents and companies with sales upward of USD 1 billion. Mr. Vitale was a member of Willis Group Executive Committee and Office of the Chairman, Willis Canada Board of Directors and Willis Reinsurance Board. Mr. Vitale is a member of the Board of Trustees of St. John s University College of Insurance in New York, the Board of Directors of AICPCU, the Board of the American Insurance Association (A.I.A.) and a former member of the Board of Directors of the Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers. Mr. Vitale has been recognized by the Chinese American Insurance Association as their 2009 Honoree of the Year for his leadership in the insurance industry. He is a guest on Bloomberg Market Watch and CNBC Squawk Box and has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal and Business Insurance Magazine as a property and casualty industry expert. Mr. Vitale is a graduate of St. John s University College of Insurance, New York.

7 Daniel M. Hofmann joined (Zurich) as Group Chief Economist in 2001 after a long and productive career as a financial editor for the Swiss daily news-paper Neue Zürcher Zeitung, which included a nine-year assignment as White House Corre-spondent (from 1985 to 2004). Daniel M. Hofmann Group Chief Economist He is a docent for international monetary affairs at the Zurich Management School and has published in international journals and contributed essays to a number of books. He is a member of the Economic Advisory Committee of the International Institute of Finance. Other professional memberships include the American Economic Association, the National Association of Business Economists, and the Conference Board s European Council of Economists, which he chaired in the 2004/2006 period. He received advanced degrees in economics from the University of Zurich in Switzerland and Brown University, Providence, R.I., (USA).
