1 VII OPEN INTERNACIONAL SIBERIA BASSEXTREM Valdecaballeros (Badajoz) Spain 28, 29 y 30 Marzo del 2014 RULES & REGULATIONS 1) THIS COMPETITION IS EXCLUSIVELY FOR BLACK BASS CAUGHT IN BOATS. ALL COMPETITORS MUST BE IN POSSESSION OF THE CURRENT PERMITS FOR BOTH FISHING AND BOATS AS REQUIRED BY THE FEP y C. THE COMPETITION WILL BE FOR 16HOURS HELD OVER TWO LEGS AS FOLLOWS, 1. FIRST LEG SATURDAY 29TH MARCH 2014,IN LAKE GARCIA SOLA FROM 9am UNTIL 5pm. 2. SECOND LEG SUNDAY 30TH MARCH 2014,IN LAKE GARCIA SOLA FROM 8am UNTIL 4pm. 2) All COMPETITORS MUST HAVE THE ATTACHED ENTRY FORM COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED TO CLUB NAUTICO SIBERIA BY 23rd MARCH THE ADDRESS FOR COMPLETED FORMS IS: VALDECABALLEROS, PUERTO PEÑA ROAD, KM.2.5. OR BY TO THE FOLLOWING ADDRESS: siberiabassextrem2014@gmail.com 3) THERE IS A 90 BOAT LIMIT TO THIS COMPETITION 4) ENTRY FEE IS 300EUROS.(THREE HUNDRED EUROS) PER BOAT,TO BE PAID INTO THE BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER DE CAJA 3. THIS FEE WILL COVER SATURDAY BREAKFAST, BREAKFAST AND LUNCH ON SUNDAY,AS WELL AS BOAT DISINFECTION AND LAKE PERMITS. COMPETITION RULES. FISHING AREAS. THE FISHING AREAS ARE AS MARKED BY THE CONFEDERACION HIDROGRAFICA DEL GUADIANA FOR THIS LAKE ON THE ACCOMPANYING MAP.

2 MEETING POINT, WELCOME OF COMPETITORS, DOCUMENT CHECK AND WEIGH-IN AS FOLLOWS. IN BOTH LEGS THE START WILL BE IN THE AREA CALLED LA VAGUADA ON GARCIA DE SOLA. THE STARTING ORDER WILL BE ESTABLISHED ACCORDING TO THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES, ALL COMPETITORS WILL HAVE SAME FISHING TIME. LATE ARRIVAL WILL BE SANCTIONED ACCORDING TO THE RULES OF SPANISH FISHING FEDERATION. LIFEJACKETS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES ALTHOUGH THEY MAY BE REMOVED WHILST FISHING. RECONNAISSANCE It is forbidden to recce the fishing area for one week prior to the commencement of the competition. THE ONLY DAY ALLOWED FOR "RECCE/FISHING"IS FRIDAY 28 th MARCH FROM 9am UNTIL 3pm. Three days notice to organisation via are required if you intend to practise. (The organisation will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs during this practise day). DOCUMENTATION The following documents are required. Competitors I.D. Fishing permits issued before 22nd March Relevant boat licence.

3 Boat insurance certificate. CATCH The catch (black bass species only)must be presented at the weigh-in alive and in good health. The minimum size allowed is 30cm (THIRTY CENTIMETRES) measured from the lower lip(mouth closed) to the tail fin. The maximum number of fish presented at the weigh-in is 5 (FIVE),and under no circumstances must there be more than five fish on the boat at any time. JUDGING The judges are designated by FEP y C and their decision is final. The organisation retains the power to take any measures it thinks fit with regard to boat control. The organisation has the power to designate any judge to board any boat for the duration of the competition. Bearing in mind the promotion of the sport the organisation will designate which boats and for how long the reporters will be entitled to board. The organisers reserve for themselves all the rights of the images taken during the competition It is absolutely forbidden to use a STRINGER. CLASSIFICATION Scoring system is 1 gram = 1point. The final scoring is determined by the combined weight of the fish from both legs, the winner having the most weight. If the competition is tied after two legs the winner will be decided according to the rules of Spanish Fishing Federation. Any fish presented at weigh-in of less than 30cms.will penalise the overall weight (1gram =1point) PRIZES The prize money is calculated according to entry,ie.70% of income less expenses, the final amount will be published once entries have closed. Breakdown of prizes is as follows= Winner=60%, 2nd=20%, 3rd=10%, and 10% for the heaviest fish. First three places and heaviest fish will receive commemorative trophies. The first five will receive free invitations to next years competition.

4 PROGRAM Friday 28th March 17.00hours Opening of car park and disinfection areas (la vaguada) hours Plaza de España de Valdecaballeros, Document presentation. Starting point draw and issuing of numbers and weight cards hours A welcome sardine barbeque for all taking part will be given by the Ayuntamiento de Valdecaballeros. Saturday 29th March For 1st leg. From 7.00 to 8.30 breakfast at the lake. From 7.00 to 8.30 disinfection of the remainder of boats (who missed Fridays)in a place to be indicated. From 7.30 to 8.45 Inspection of "keeper tanks" and launch directions. Last minute question resolutions. 9.00hours Start of first leg hours end of first leg, weigh-in and publication of provisional standings. Sunday 30th March For 2nd leg. From 6.30 to 7.30 breakfast at lake. From 7.00 to 7.45 Inspection of keeper tanks and launch directions start of second leg end of second leg and weigh-in Publication of final standings Trophy and prize giving. Farewell meal at lake. ENTRIES ARE DEEMED TO KNOW AND ACCEPT THESE COMPETITION RULES. ALL THE COMPETITORS ARE REMINDED THAT THE SPANISH FEDERATION FORBIDES THE USE OF ALCOHOLIC BEBERAGES AND SMOKING DURING THE COMPETITION.
