Jurisdiction This event is a Clubmans Rally promoted by the Otago Sports Car Club and will take place on November in and around Lawrence, Otago The rally will be held under these Supplementary Regulations, the Motorsport New Zealand National Sporting Code and its Appendices and Schedules particularly Appendix 3, Schedule R being the Standing Regulations for all Rallies and Schedule A Driver Safety and Vehicle Requirements. 2 The Official Rally address for all matters pertaining to the event is as follows: The Lawrence Rally Secretary Otago Sports Car Club Inc. P O Box 100 Dunedin. 3. The Event 3.1 Venue: The rally will start and finish in Lawrence using public gravel roads to the south and west of Lawrence. 3.2 Length: Comprises approx 80 km of special stages and approx 100 km of touring. 3.3 First Car Starts: From the rally start outside Fox Autos at 11:00am 3.4 First Car Finishes: At approx 3.05 pm at the Final Control located at the Coach and Horses Inn (Prize giving venue) 3.5 Stages SS 1 Corkscrew SS 2 GreenField SS 3 Cockleshell SS 4 Robberts Rd SS 5 Reserve Rd Entries 4.1 Opening and Closing These open with the publication of these regulations and close at 5.00 p.m. on Friday 6th of November 2015 Entries received after this date will be considered late and only be accepted at the organisers discretion 4.2 Otago Sports Car Club inc Members Oscc members will be entered into Class 1 and will be given preferential entry to the rally. 3 4.3 Entry Acceptance Entries to be made on the correct form and to be deemed valid must be complete in all detail and accompanied by the appropriate fees. Acceptance will be at the organising committee s discretion. The organisers reserve the right to refuse any entry in accordance with the prescribed provisions of the National Sporting Code. 4.4 Fees Entry Fee $325 This includes Rally Safe fees Late Fee $ Number of Starters: The organisers reserve the right to abandon the event if less than 30 entries are received at the normal closing date. The maximum number of starters will be 50. Entries in excess of the maximum number will be placed on a reserve list in order of receipt. 4.6 Acceptance of Entry (Part Two Supplementary Regulations) These will be posted on the Lawrence rally website together with the seeded entry list at 5pm Saturday November If you wish to be posted an acceptance of entry please indicate on your entry form 4.7 Competitor Requirements: Knowledge and Understandings: In signing the entry forms competitors (Entrant and Drivers) are deemed to fully understand the MotorSport NZ National Sporting Code and its relevant Appendices and Schedules. Particularly, (a) The National Sporting Code articles pertaining to protests and competitors obligations, and (b) Appendix Three Schedule R articles pertaining to Stage notes, Pace notes and Reconnaissance.

4 Licence Requirements: New Competitors: Both No. 1 and No. 2 drivers shall hold a R1 or R2 Grade or higher Motorsport NZ issued Competitors Licence. Any driver(s) who have not previously competed in three or more rallies must attend the new competitor special briefing. Details of venue and time will be announced with the acceptance of entry. 5. ELIGIBLE VEHICLES 5.1 Compliance All competing vehicles shall comply with Appendix Two Schedule A and Appendix 3 Schedule R of the current Motorsport Manual unless stated otherwise in these supplementary regulations. 5.2 Classes Vehicles will be divided into the following classes: Class A cc 2wd Class B 1301cc 1600cc 2wd Class C 1601cc and over 2wd Class D 4wd Vehicles 6. DOCUMENTATION AND SCRUTINEERING AUDIT Competitors must present themselves at documentation for the checking of licences and documents, issuing of competition numbers and applicable advertising material prior to presenting the car for scrutineering. Cars will not be admitted to the pre-start area until all of these numbers and advertising requirements are firmly affixed in the appropriate places on the vehicle. Competitors shall present themselves at Rally Headquarters at the times given in Supplementary Regulations Part Two.

OFFICIALS IDENTIFICATION Officials of the event will be identified as detailed below: a) Marshals: Will wear bibs b) Stage Control (Post) Chief: Will wear bibs c) Scrutineers: Name Badges d) Other Officials: Name Badges 8. OFFICIAL BULLETINS May be issued in accordance with the provisions of the National Sporting Code. 9. OFFICIAL NOTICEBOARDS 10. RESULTS 11. STAGE NOTES These will be displayed at any of the following venues: Start Control Rally Headquarters Provisional results for the event will be posted at the prize giving venue The use of Stage Notes will not be permitted during the event 12. REJOINING The Road Book contains a Temporary Withdrawal form, a Final Withdrawal form and a Rejoining form. No competitor will be permitted to restart the rally once they have handed in a Final Withdrawal form. If a competitor believes that they may be able to restart after an incident they should complete a Temporary Withdrawal form and hand it to an appropriate official.

6 If a competitor then wishes to re-join the event they must only do so at the start control of a stage 3 or Stage 4. They must hand in a Rejoining form to the Post Chief. They must try to rejoin in their seeded position. If this is not possible then they must rejoin at the end of the field. All cars that have suffered accident damage must be checked and cleared by a Scrutineer or designated official before rejoining. 13. SERVICING All Service and Support vehicles are to be registered with the Organisers at the time of entry. They must display throughout the event the official competition numbers and applicable advertising material that will be issued at Documentation. Servicing from an unregistered vehicle will be deemed to be the same as servicing in a prohibited area and will be penalised accordingly. Servicing is encouraged in areas designated as Service Parks or Service Areas in the Road Book. However, vehicles competing may service in other areas except where expressly forbidden. 14. RALLY SAFE Rallysafe tracking and timing technology will be used at this event and is mandatory for all competitors. An overview of the system which provides significant safety benefits can be found on a. A one off cost of approximately $AUD175 (plus shipping) to purchase the wiring kit, brackets and aerials that can be used at multiple events. These must be ordered from Rallysafe using the online purchase form found at

7 NOTE: Please make sure that you have ordered and received a wiring kit at least two weeks prior to the event. There will be no kits available on the day, please insure you have fitted the mounting correctly prior to the event. b. A briefing for Co-Drivers can be downloaded from GENERAL a. The prize giving function is to be held at the Coach and Horses Inn at the conclusion of the event (Every competitor and crew is urged to attend) b. A 4wd recovery vehicle and tow truck will follow the rally course. They will attempt to recover your vehicle back to the service area. If your vehicle can not be towed it is the responsibility of the entrant to recover the vehicle in a timely manner. c. Competitors are required to report any damage they cause to stock or property, to the next control official.
