Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) Moscow, Russia MGIMO is the diplomatic school of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. MGIMO was founded on 14 October 1944, when the USSR Council of People s Commissars reorganized the School of International Relations of the Moscow State University into an autonomous institute. Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL) Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium Founded in 1425, the Université Catholique de Louvain is one of Europe s oldest universities. University of Queensland (UQ) Brisbane, Australia Founded in 1910, the University of Queensland (UQ) is one of Australia s premier learning and research institutions. Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) Vienna, Austria With about 24,000 students from Austria and abroad, WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business) is the EU s largest educational institution for business and economics, business law, and social sciences. WU s students benefit from its outstanding faculty and its wide selection of degree programs at the bachelor, master and PhD levels. Internationally-oriented programs are attracting a constantly increasing number of international students to WU. Currently, 26% of WU s degree students are from outside Austria, and within the English-taught MSc programs the percentage is even higher. 11 BRIC Destination Fudan University, School of Management Shanghai, China Fudan University was founded in the year 1905 in Shanghai and today is one of the most renowned universities in China. Its School of Management is Bocconi s main Chinese partner. The University has over 36,000 current students, 2,800 of whom are foreign students. The faculty has 2,100 professors. It has 29 schools and departments with 70 disciplines and 225 Master degree disciplines. Fudan has established cooperation agreements with universities from over 30 countries, including Harvard University, Yale University, the University of California at Berkeley, Cornell University and MIT. 11

35 Special Double Degree Program: China Master in International Management with Fudan University The program The China Master in International Management (China MIM) is a Master of Science program that offers the opportunity to attend the first year at Fudan University in China (Shanghai) and the second year at Università Bocconi. This program is the result of an agreement between the Italian and Chinese Ministers of Education to design a unique and challenging academic program with the objective of creating a managerial class with a strong understanding of China and its stand-out growing economy. If you are a highly skilled and motivated candidate, the China MIM is an outstanding opportunity to acquire both an interdisciplinary knowledge and intercultural competencies as well as broaden your professional horizons in order to meet the new demands of the job market. The main features of the China MIM are: 2 degrees: the Italian Master of Science Degree in International Management issued by Bocconi and a Chinese Master of Science Degree issued by Fudan University. Mixed class environment with Chinese students and Chinese faculty. One thesis with a Bocconi advisor according to the Bocconi rules and one defense in Milan. No additional tuition fee for Fudan University but only an administrative fee paid to Bocconi. In Their Own Words The China MIM is one of those experiences that changes your life.
