1 Fahad Tahir, FACHE Chief Executive Officer, Saint Thomas Physician Services Saint Thomas Health A member of Ascension Health Fahad Tahir is Chief Executive Officer of Saint Thomas Physician Services at Saint Thomas Health (a member of Ascension Health) and a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives. Fahad is also a Fellow of Washington DC's Health Care Advisory Board. Fahad s responsibilities for Saint Thomas Health include overseeing clinical, operational and financial performance of Saint Thomas Physician Services, as well as physician network strategy, physician and service line development. His direct reports include the COO, CFO, Physician Recruitment Directors, and Medical Directors. Fahad has been within Ascension Health since Prior to joining Saint Thomas Health, Fahad served as Vice President of Physician Enterprise and Community Health Network at Providence, a health system in Washington, D.C. Fahad s responsibilities at Providence included practice operations, clinical integration strategy and growth plan of the physician enterprise. He oversaw and directed the acquisition of several practices across specialties, patient centered medical home certification, and affiliations with several primary care and community health centers. Additionally, Providence obtained three (3) CMS Innovation awards, totaling more than $18 million. These recognized programs included developing a clinically integrated network, new payment models for diabetes education and a clinically integrated prenatal care network. He was also Executive Sponsor for the implementation of a Health Information Exchange (HIE), an integrated EMR system that brings together the health records of multiple physician group practices, clinics, hospitals and health centers. Prior, Fahad held roles in physician practice development, acquisitions and practice management at Columbia St. Mary's Health System in Milwaukee, WI. Fahad earned his MBA from and his BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Fahad is a native of Bombay, India and now lives in Nashville, TN.

2 Thomas Zeller, Ph.D., CPA Professor, Quinlan School of Business Thomas Zeller is a Professor of Accounting at. During the past twenty years, Professor Zeller has taught in the undergraduate, graduate, and executive education programs. Professor Zeller currently teaches intermediate cost accounting, MBA for Executive Financial Accounting and accounting information system courses. Professor Zeller has published numerous articles and presented several works addressing financial analysis, activity-based costing and health care financial measurement issues. His research has appeared in several journals including Strategic Finance, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Issues in Accounting Education, Corporate Controller, International Advances in Economic Research, Business and Economic Review, Hospital Cost Management and Accounting, Business Horizons, and Healthcare Financial Management. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Illinois CPA Society.

3 Sean Patrick Kane Professor, Quinlan School of Business Executive Education Sean, or spk as he is referred to by many on campus, is a graduate of both the Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business Administration and Graduate School of Business. He studied operations management and marketing as an undergraduate student and earned the Operations Management Department Key upon graduation. While earning his MBA at Loyola, he chose to study management as a compliment to his operations and marketing studies. spk developed a passion for the healthcare industry while he was an undergraduate student and recognized the value his operations training would have on the industry. He chose to personally supplement his collegiate education with course theory and certification in lean and six sigma through the University of Illinois. spk has been employed in various hospital- and ambulatorybased leadership positions since entering the healthcare field, including overseeing interventional radiology and surgical services departments and most recently taking on administrative roles supporting the advanced lung disease programs at Northwestern Medicine. spk is presently an adjunct faculty member of the Quinlan School of Business. In his spare time, he plays competitive ice hockey, listens to jazz music, and enjoys the company of his French Bulldog, Oliver.

4 Patricia Pippert Quinlan School of Business Executive Education Patricia Pippert is a skilled learning and development expert and executive coach, with extensive experience in assessing needs and implementing solutions for senior management. She works with both domestic and global organizations to improve processes and manage performance to increase motivation, productivity, and profitability. Dedicated to establishing partnerships with clients to help them attain their goals, Patricia designs, develops and implements performance management, mentoring, and succession planning systems. She conceives and facilitates executive and team effectiveness programs, focusing on personality/communication styles, 360-degree assessments, and coaching to institute organization-wide efforts to impart change. 5 Teresa Frisbie Quinlan School of Business Executive Education School of Law Teresa Frisbie is the Director of the Dispute Resolution Program at Loyola University of Chicago School of Law. She started her career with the business litigation firm of Foran & Schultz where she became a partner. Since the late 1990s she has also been a mediator and arbitrator and has mediated and arbitrated hundreds of cases. She has taught negotiation and mediation skills and international arbitration to law students, lawyers, judges and other professionals in the U.S and Europe. Teresa has also been named an Illinois Leading Lawyer by her peers in the areas of Alternative Dispute Resolution/Employment, ADR/Commercial Litigation and ADR/International. As a mediator, arbitrator and attorney, Teresa has been involved in disputes in a wide variety of areas including real estate, partnership, estates and trusts, employment, construction, and privacy law. In the health law field her clients have included physicians, professional associations, hospitals, dentists, and medical software consultants in matters ranging from physician licensure and business break ups to medical malpractice and personal injury. Teresa is on the panel of mediators and arbitrators at ADR Systems, and is a certified mediator for the Circuit Court of Cook County Law and Chancery Division mediation programs, the Association of Attorney Mediators and the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals. She was named a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London, in 1997, and has served as executive director and a panel member for the Chicago International Dispute Resolution Association. She is also of counsel at DeGrand & Wolfe, P.C. Teresa possesses strong skills that help her bring parties to resolution in hotly contested litigation by facilitating communication, identifying interests and exploring creative solutions, and Teresa teaches these techniques in her Executive Education sessions at Quinlan.

6 Patricia P. Richards, RODC Patricia Richards is an Organization Development Consultant and a 27-year Human Resource veteran. She is also a Registered Organizational Development Consultant (RODC). For over 25 years, Richards has worked with numerous clients to enhance organizations abilities to achieve greater effectiveness by building organizational capabilities. During her eight-year career at The Quaker Oats Company, she was responsible for managing the training and organizational development effort for Golden Grain. During this time, she implemented the organization s first Human Resource Strategic Plan, a strategic training plan and a cultural assessment. Richards was also responsible for the delivery of numerous training and team building interventions. Prior to working for The Quaker Oats Company, Patricia spent five years at Time, Inc. where her duties included recruiting, pre-employment testing, and human resource system implementation. She holds a Bachelor s degree from DePaul University in Industrial and Organization Psychology and is completing her Masters in Organization Development at Benedictine University.
