3 Durbin Sales Opportunity In July 2011, the Durbin Amendment to the Dodd-Frank Financial Reform bill was passed and goes into effect in October Total Merchant Services decided not to wait for this legislation to go into effect and created a program that immediately put our partners into a position to write more deals.today. Our new applications are coming in the door in an unprecedented manner. It s absolutely amazing. It only took a few weeks to get where we anticipated we d be in six months. In addition, we ve had a few webinar training sessions in the past few weeks during which we trained over 300 salespeople. So, we re just getting started.
