9 9. Enter the student s Banner ID or Name, Select type ( All is the default), and submit Or 9
10 10. The name of the student will appear, select Submit if it is the correct student. If it is not the correct student, select ID Selection at the bottom of the page and try again. Jane Doe If this is the correct student, select Submit if not, select ID Selection. 10
11 11. Once you have selected the correct student, you will be returned to the Faculty & Advisor form. Select Degree Evaluation 11

This screen will show you the student s name, degree program, catalog year, and gives you three choices at the bottom of the screen: View Previous Evaluations, Generate New Evaluation and What-If Analysis. Student name will appear here xxxxxxxx View Previous Evaluations: You can view an evaluation that you, the student or the registrar s office has already run. This option takes the least amount of processing time. However, it will not include any updates since the evaluation last ran. Generate New Evaluation: A new evaluation will run, with the student s most up to date information. What-If Analysis: You can choose any major for the selected student to determine what courses the student would need if they had a different major. Please Note: Catalog Term CAPP will run the student s audit based on their catalog term in Banner. If this is not the current catalog term, and/or you want to use the current catalog for this student, you can use the What-If Analysis option. You must submit an to the Office of the Registrar to change the catalog year in Banner for a student. 12
13 13. Select Generate New Evaluation Student name will appear here 13

Select the radio button next to the correct program, the anticipated graduation term and then select Generate Request Student name will appear here The evaluation should run quickly but if the system should time you out please try again. If you continue to have problems, you can select View Previous Evaluations, but please contact the registrar s office to report the problem. 14
15 15. After the evaluation has run, you will have three display options: General Requirements, Detail Requirements and Additional Information. Student name will appear here General Requirements: will allow you to view the overall credit hours, the GPA requirements and whether or not the student has met specific area requirements of the program (for example, the core, major, free electives, minors and other program specific areas) Detail Requirements: will show detailed course requirements and grade information as well as provide an explanation if a student does not meet requirements. Additional Information: lists the currently enrolled courses of the student, which courses CAPP did not use and the reasons CAPP rejected specific courses. 15
16 16. After you have viewed any of the requirements ALWAYS scroll to the bottom of the form and select Back to Display Options 16
17 17. From here, you can continue to look at student requirements or return to the main menu to view another student. OR 17
18 18. If you want to run another audit for a different student, select ID Selection. Add the student s Banner ID, on the next form, and repeat the process. 18
