The outline of today s worship is printed in the table above; the liturgy and hymns being located in the red Christian Worship Hymnal in front of you. Here are some helpful hints if you are not accustomed to Lutheran or liturgical worship: The front part of the hymnal has page numbers which will be helpful in locating today's liturgy (page 15) Psalm 19 (page 70). Hymns are found, not by page number but by their number in the upper corner of the hymnal page. Ask a neighbor for assistance if needed. Restrooms are located in the church entry space. The Women s is to the right of the narthex table, the Men s to the left. If you would like information about life at Trinity, please feel free to speak with one of the pastors. Church is for children too; however, should you feel the need to take a fussy child out of the worship space, a cry room is located on the far south side of the church entry. HOLY BAPTISM Logan Heffel Naker, infant son of Joshua and Suzanne (née Johnson) Naker, will be welcomed into God's family through the sacrament of Holy Baptism during today's late service. Logan's godparents are Dan and Jaclyn Tubbin, Jennifer Johnson, and Ross Wiemer. LENTEN FELLOWSHIP SUPPER HOSTS AND DESSERTS NEEDED Ash Wednesday is quickly approaching on February 10, so it's time to start planning our Fellowship Suppers held between our Wednesday Lenten services. There are sign-up sheets in the church entry for you to reserve your group's spot to host a supper, or to indicate your willingness to donate a dessert. Please consider serving your congregation in this way, and sign up today! FUNERAL VISITATION for Trinity member John Blickle will be this Monday, 5:00 7:00pm at Sturino's Funeral Home in Racine. Interment will be at Veteran's Park, Union Grove. DIVINE CALL RECEIVED Pastor Burgess has received a Divine Call to serve two congregations in Nebraska, St. Paul's of Norfolk and Beautiful Savior of O'Neill. Please pray for him and his family as he deliberates between this Call and his current Call to serve Trinity, Caledonia. "Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up" (Ephesians 4:11-12) GIVING STATEMENTS have been placed in church mailboxes. As you reflect on your giving for the past year we ask you to prayerfully consider increasing your first-fruit giving. Consider how God has richly blessed you and how through you He would support the work of your congregation that strengthens your family and those in our community. If you didn't receive a statement the church could not record your giving there is no way to record "loose" offerings. In order for future gifts to be recorded please consider: 1) automated electronic giving (you determine the amount and the frequency of the gift); 2) one-time electronic gifts through the DONATE option on the church website; 3) request an envelope pack. Thank you for your generous gifts as partner together in Sharing Christ! CONGREGATIONAL QUARTERLY MEETING will be held next Sunday, January 31 st after late service. In addition to reporting on congregational activities for the last three months the year end statistical records will be shared as well as more in depth discussion regarding the work of the Accreditation Committee and the Exploratory Building Committee.

4 PLEASE EMPTY YOUR CHURCH MAILBOX There have been many things placed in your church mailbox in recent weeks including volunteer schedules, 2015 giving statements, the latest Shoreland newsletter, Shoreland's 2016 Sponsor Directory, and more. Some mailboxes are getting very full, so please check yours today! Mailboxes are located in the coat room areas behind and on either side of the Jesus statue in our narthex. TRINITY PRESCHOOL REGISTRATION FOR THE SCHOOL YEAR HAS BEGUN! The program runs Monday through Friday 8:30 11:30am for children ages 3 5. You may pick any 2 5 days and preferred days are secured in the order that they are received. Please pick up an enrollment packet in the school office. Your child is not registered until the registration fee of $100 is paid and days are selected! Trinity members have priority enrollment until January 31 st. For more information call the school office (262) CHRISTIAN EDUCATION SUNDAY ACTIVITIES The congregation is cordially invited to a potluck lunch following today's second service. Everyone attending is asked to bring a dish to pass. Ham sandwiches and hot dogs will be provided. Please join us for some fellowship and a little fun entertainment given by some of the school children... Also, in thanks to God for the Christian education given at Trinity, any alumni of Trinity, who would like to do so, are invited to join the school children in singing our final Hymn 509 v. 2, 4 at the front of church. SHORELAND CULVER'S NIGHT is this Tuesday, January 26, 5:00 8:00pm in Kenosha (5220 Green Bay Road). A percentage of the sales that night will go towards Shoreland's prom. Come to Culver's and enjoy dinner before or after the basketball games! SHORELAND AND SCHOOL CHOICE Open enrollment starts February 1 for Milwaukee, Racine, and Wisconsin Choice Programs. The Wisconsin Parental Choice Program open enrollment period runs from February 1 April 20. Shoreland open enrollment periods for the Milwaukee and Racine Programs are February 1 20, March 1 20, April 1 20, and May If you are interested in any of these programs, you can get more information and fill out the online application at 7 TH & 8 TH GRADE SHORELAND PACER BRUNCH Sunday, January 31 at 11:30am. This informal opportunity is designed to help you learn more about SLHS. Brunch is followed by a presentation, a question & answer session concerning the future of your child s Christian education, and tours of the building. Some of the topics to be covered include: tuition & tuition assistance, academic four-year course planning, transportation, planning for college, co-curricular activities such as music, athletics & clubs, plus STEM and more! They are encouraging just parents to attend unless your child did not previously have the opportunity to visit Shoreland. MISSION PRAYER Holy Spirit, who alone gives unity of doctrine and practice to the church, we ask your grace and favor on our Commission for Inter-Church Relations as they foster that unity with church bodies in our fellowship and promote that unity with those who are striving to proclaim Christ according to your errorless Word.
