Mission and Administrative Capacity: The mission of the nursing education unit reflects the governing organization s core values and is congruent with its mission/goals. The governing organization and program have administrative capacity resulting in effective delivery of the nursing program and achievement of identified program outcomes. All Elsevier- Evolve products were introduced, PEPID was introduced, an introduction and orientation to the Sim Spaces was provided, and the students were oriented to the use of their online textbooks. It was recommended that a student survey of the orientation take place separate from that of the Student Satisfaction Survey administered in November. The college offers a Blackboard tutorial and has a student helpdesk for student assistance. Services related to technical support were reviewed: Evolve- Elsevier website with tutorials, representative, and online/phone support. PEPID online/phone support. Blackboard online, print, and phone support. The Office of Instructional Development and Online Learning also has multiple methods for student support, including point of service chatting.
