2 Welcome to the first edition of the Meeka Dust for the year. There have been some changes to staffing at the Shire since the end of last year. This includes myself taking over from Kelly Fuhrmann as the Community Development Officer and as the coordinator for the Meeka Dust. Kelly has done a great job at keeping the Dust in circulation over the last couple of years. I will do my best to emulate her good example. This month we have several articles written by residents in the region about their holidays to other places. These are wonderful examples of writing by local people. I m sure you ll find them entertaining, amusing and inspiring. If you have any stories of Meekatharra and its surrounds please submit them. We are always interested in submissions.
