On behalf of The Society of Thoracic Surgeons Workforce on National Databases, I am pleased to invite you to Advances in Quality & Outcomes: A Data Managers Meeting, a three-day annual event for data managers to be held this year in exciting Chicago, Illinois. This meeting will focus on all three Databases that comprise the STS National Database: Adult Cardiac Surgery, Congenital Heart Surgery, and General Thoracic Surgery. The primary objective of this meeting is to provide attendees with a variety of presentations and discussions to help them improve data collection and patient outcomes. Of particular importance this year to the Adult Cardiac Surgery Database data managers: a comprehensive overview of the new data specification upgrade that becomes effective July 1, To be held at the Swissôtel Chicago, Nov , the AQO Conference is ideal for health care professionals and data collection personnel who are dedicated to delivering and improving quality health care to cardiovascular surgical patients.
