19 Summary 19 Integration of large amounts of wind power pose challenges to grid and system integration New tools for grid operation are necessary For generation control, the wind farm cluster concept has been developed Cluster = all wind farms connected to one transmission grid node The Wind Farm Cluster Management System (WCMS) has been developed at ISET It enables the TSO an extended control of the wind power plant Its capabilities are currently demonstrated in a field test in Germany
