In 2013, the UN organizations world-wide procured for a total of USD billion, which represents an increase of 4.6% compared to This seminar, an incoming event at the UN Campus in Bonn, will focus on UN procurement in general and on the procurement of the following local organizations in particular: UNFCCC, UNV and another 17 UN organizations in Bonn and 8 other German cities. The purpose of this seminar is to show German companies what and how the Bonn-based UN agencies procure in order to facilitate the procurement procedures for potential vendors and the UN procurement officers. Procurement staff of UNFCCC and UNV will hold presentations. As a special service, the procurement officers will be available for bilateral meetings during the event. Additionally, there will be presentations from German UN suppliers sharing best practices. A networking lunch will complete the seminar. 4 PRACTICAL INFORMATION Time and place The seminar will take place on January 29 th, 2015 from 8:30 to 17:00 at the UN Campus Bonn Platz der Vereinten Nationen Bonn Altes Hochhaus Building, Conference Room AH-UG Please note that all presentations as well as the bilateral meetings will be held in English.
