Method for Estimation of Radio-Ecological Pollution of the Environment The method is in the sphere of environment monitoring and applied for study of radionuclide content in tree growth rings and for timing maximum inflow of radionuclides into the environment. The technology makes possible to carry out a retrospective estimation of the radiation territory pollution with fissionable radionuclides (U235, Pu, Am, Np etc) under nuclear fall-out: nuclear weapons test in atmosphere; underground nuclear explosions; radioactive waste disposals; nuclear-fuel cycle enterprises location (AEP). Application of the nuclear-physical method ensuring fixation of fission fragments of U235, Pu, Am, Np under thermal neutrons impact within the reaction (n, f) fission radiography, makes possible to date these elements in any natural objects, including tree growth rings with a high susceptibility level of (10 9 %) and reliability. Number of fission fragment treks indicates a level of the components accumulation in the environment and time of their inflow. Since the tree growth rings have a close lock-on, their study makes possible to carry out a retrospective analysis of radioactive element fall-out and estimation of their accumulation level. The technology use requires special equipment: thermal neutrons supply (research nuclear reactor or special neutron supplies). This technology does not have any analogues in Russia and abroad. Development Stage The technology is ready for implementation and is already implemented in Russia. Legal Protection Patent RU
Forecasting Technology of Oil and Gas Fields on Basis of Geophysical and Radio Geochemical Methods Application Detection of prospective areas and sectors for oil and gas accumulation and other minerals. Local prognosis metal and gas content. Short Description Thermoluminescent radiometric survey. Gamma-spectrometric survey. Gamma-radiometric survey. Stimulated footing fluorescence. An application of these methods is based on physicochemical properties change of rocks in oxidation zone over oil and gas deposits, which are caused by the light hydrocarbon and ambient air flow with an oxidation-reduction barrier formation in the upper part of the drill core. The impact effects of the deposits in the fields on test are detected with the help of the original multi-component mathematic data processing procedure. Advantages Detection of prospective oil-and-gas bearing areas in different geological and landscape conditions. Fixation of traces of mineral deposits presence. Optimization and total cost reduction of geological survey works by cutting the scope of seismic survey works and quantity of empty wells. Extent of Development Sites recommended for search drilling in Novo- Mikhailovskaya gas-perspective region Forecasting efficiency is proved in 15 oil fields and oil and gas prospective areas of Tomsk oblast, Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Krasnoyarsky territory and Khakassia republic. 59
Remote-sensing Methods of Geological Survey, Forecasting and oil research Application Modeling of geological structure of geological blocks at different levels of generalization (province, region, centre, field, deposit). Geological and engineering-geological mapping (1: :10 000). Forecasting and search for mineral deposits (oil, gas, gold, diamonds, uranium, precious, less-common, nonferrous metals and ground waters. Brief Description Spectral zonal space photography of Landsat ETM+ systems (9 channels, spatial resolution m), IRS (4 channels, spatial resolution 5,6 23,5 m) serve as initial data. Advantages Accuracy and metricity of initial information. Visibility, continuity, clearness, required detail. Digital means of information gaining and processing within geographic information system. Natural generalization and high propagation distance. High information density, which is provided by data obtained in electromagnetic radiation spread-spectrum. Extent of Development Remote-sensing methods are used in forecasting and survey of polymetals in Rudny Altai (Kazakstan Republic, «Kazzinc», Joint-stock company «Kazzinc»), geological survey on the territory of Tomsk exclusive area (Seversk, FGUP TGPII «VNIPIET»), ore areas in North-Kazakstan ore province (Earth Crust Institute, Siberian division of Russian Academy of Science, Irkutsk). Our Partners Engineering-technological centre «ScanEx» Moscow. 60

Brief Description Bundled Software is a service 32-bit program (Windows-application), operating in MS Windows. Its basic modules and procedures were tested under pursuance of factory and scientific researches, as well as during students training. Field of Application Multi-purpose hydrodynamic and geochemical research and operations in the field of prospecting work, exploration and development of mineral deposits. Competitive Advantages Applicability to decision of wide spectrum of scientific problems. Simplicity and ease of use. Adaptation both to fresh and highly mineralized solutions. Russian-language localization. Stage of Development Pilot production, sale. 6 Geochemical Field Survey Method for Forecasting and Assessment of Mineral Deposits Аpplication Forecasting of mineralization with resources assessment of Р 2 Р 3 category. Level assessment of erosive mineralization cross-section; Sorting of geochemical anomalies on the basis of their structural analysis. Enhancement of weak anomalies. Brief description The developed forecasting method of golden mineralization lies in a comprehensive approach to the geochemical field anomaly structure survey, emerging during the ore deposit formation. Advantages Ultimate integral model of geochemical field is a basis for localization of gold-bearing fields, quantitative assessment of their productivity, forecast mapping detecting top priority objects for search-assessment works. Reliability 95 %. Cost-effectiveness 100 %. 62
Technology of Search and Local Forecast of Gold Ore Deposit Basing on Typomorphic Properties of Minerals Application Determination of horizontal and vertical zo ning of precious metal mineralization. Estimation of erosive trail level. Local forecast and search for concealed mineralization. Brief Description Pyrite is one of the wide-spread and informative sulphide minerals of gold ore deposits of various genetic types. Studying of typomorphic properties pyrite (crystal morphology, elements-impurities, thermo-emf) allows the estimation of prospectivity and productiveness of ledges on the gold mineralization. Pyrite position Crystal morphology Crystals of simple morphology, mostly of cubic crystal Above-ore pyrite habit Crystals of 2 5 morphological type of cubic or pentagon-dodecahedral habit. Crystal face (321) is often Pyrite of top ore body present Large quantity of morphological type crystals (30 and Pyrite of medium more). Abrupt combinational instability. Faces are irregularly developed. Crystals of cubic or pentagon do- ore body decahedral habit are predominated Crystals of 2 5 morphological types of cubic or cubic pentagon dodecahedral Pyrite of root ore body habit Typomorphic admixture-elements Hg, Ba, (Sb) Hg, Ba, Ag, Sb(As) Pb, Zn, Cu, As, Au Co, Ni, Ti, V,(As) Thermo electromotive force, (Thermo-EMF) Hole-type conductivity Hole-type of conductivity is predominated Electron-hole type of conductivity Electron type of conductivity is predominated Advantages The technology makes it possible to determine the regularity of localization of gold mineralization with the minimal expenses with the economic efficiency of no less than 100 %. Extent of Development The assessment of ore presence of more than 30 gold ore deposits in different regions of Siberia, Transbaikal, Kazakhstan, Yakutiya was carried out. 63
