Curse Descriptin Explres technical fundamentals f creating multimedia prjects with related hardware and sftware. General Purpse In this curse students will learn the cncepts, design and implementatin f multimedia fr the web. 6 Required Time Allcatin per Tpic In rder t standardize the cre tpics f ITE 170 s that a curse taught at ne campus is equivalent t the same curse taught at anther campus, the fllwing student cntact hurs per tpic are required. Each syllabus shuld be created t adhere as clsely as pssible t these allcatins. Of curse, the tpics cannt be fllwed sequentially. Many tpics are taught best as an integrated whle, ften revisiting the tpic several times, each time at a higher level. There are nrmally 45 student-cntact-hurs per semester fr a three credit curse. (This includes 15 weeks f instructin and des nt include the final exam week s 15* 3 = 45 hurs. Sectins f the curse that are given in alternative frmats frm the standard 16 week sectin still meet fr the same number f cntact hurs.) The final exam time is nt included in the time table. The categry, Other ptinal cntent, leaves ample time fr an instructr t tailr the curse t special needs r resurces.
